Straight to fruiting?
    #27144317 - 01/12/21 06:08 PM (3 years, 2 months ago)

So, I've heard from a couple of sources on here that it is now recommended to introduce fruiting conditions right after spawn.  Want to get a couple of opinions on this first... what's the verdict? Yah or nah?

Yes straight to fruiting.

That is what I do, and what pretty much every bulk cultivator around here has adopted.

Spawn straight to fruiting conditions for the win.

So now I'm curious,  what are the benefits of introducing fruiting conditions right away?

The two most popular mono tub teks right now seem to be Bod's unmodified and Pasty's EZ dialed. I know Bod's is emblematic of straight to fruiting condition but idk if Pasty's as well. Can someone else chime in?

Do you make sure to keep the sub at regular field capacity? I’ve been experimenting and because I live in a drier area I’ve had to take measures to maintain that moisture, but I’m afraid adding too much water at first might stunt the immediate growth.

Um, yeah? You always want it to be at field capacity. If you're having issues with maintaining humidity/moisture, probably best to make the substrate as required and then just mist as needed
