PsillyTEK for wood lovers?

Hello. This is my first post here. I haven't cultivated in a long time (nor do I plan to because its illegal). However, back in the early 90's I wrote the original Psilly Psimon's Shroom Growing Guide. I think it's still on Erowid. Now I live in the PNW and know a friend who wants to try wood lover outdoor cultivation in her backyard. She asked me how I would do it so I did some reading in these lovely forums and thought about it a bit and came up with an interesting TEK. Again, I haven't tried this but it seems like it should work and simplify cultivation by reducing the transfer steps.
1. Load up a quart canning jar 2/3 with hardwood chips and a little water. Dunno how much. Experiment. 2. Cut a circle of cardboard that fits in the jar and place it over the wood chips. 3. Add your favorite PF TEK mix on top of the cardboard, which keeps the two separate. 4. Poke a hole in the cap, cover it with a piece of duct tape, put the cap on the jar and pressure cook it for 30 min. Cool it. 5. Poke your flame sterilized spore syringe through the taped hole, inoculate the PF and retape immediately. 6. Since the wood chips and the PF cake have been sterilized together you really shouldn't have to do anything until the mycellium eats through the cardboard and gets to the wood. 7. Once the wood is full of mycelium dump it into a pit of wood chips outside in the right climate and time of year and follow the wonderful instructions you can find on this forum.
The advantage with this tek is that you don't risk contamination in transferring the PF cake to another jar of sterilized wood chips. It's all right there ready to go. Has anyone tried this? Am I misunderstanding why this might not work? If not then I will advise my friend to do so and report on the results.

My main concern would be a dirty spore syringe, contaminates could grow and spread through the brf mix. I've heard of people soaking a wood chip in sugar solution(to aid germination), pc'ing, then putting spores on the wood chip and wrapping till colonised, then expanding that to more chips. Personally I'm going agar>grain> chips/cardboard. All that being said, woodlover myc appears to be pretty hardy. It can be expanded on boiled cardboard/woodchip with basically zero sterile procedure.
