How to sterilize wheat bran?

I'm planning on only using wheat bran as a grain spawn and was wondering what the most efficient way of sterilizing it is. Would it be the same as BRF?

Wheat bran is a supplement. You can't use it on its own as spawn, well you can but I wouldn't suggest
You sterilize it like anything else. With steam usually using a pressure cooker

I wouldnt use it by itself but you could mix it with verm to make wheat bran cakes.
They would need to be sterilized in a pc with a grain jar lid.
Then treat them as cakes and crumble or fruit as cakes rolled in verm.

Why can't I use bran on it's own? I don't plan on making cakes, my idea is to break it up and spawn to a substrate.

Seems expensive for starters i pay 6$ for 20# of grain and i use to pay half that. It also seems sticky/clumpy/ If its the ONLY thing you have or you get it for free thats the only way i would start to experiment with it.
maybe this will help if you insist on going that rout.

If anyone about 10 years from now had the same idea as me and wanted to try this, I just did it. I did two separate experiments.
The first being only wheat bran. I inoculated and after about a month there was only a tiny amount of what I thought was growth but ended up becoming trichoderma.
The second experiment was mixing oats and wheat bran. I definitely fucked up the moisture content on this one, but it does seem really hard to get it right. There was some growth on the top but after a month and no progress I opened the jar, gave it a smell and it just wasn't right.
In conclusion, just use oats or rye bro.
