Is this contam/treatable?
    #27135392 - 01/08/21 02:14 PM (3 years, 20 days ago)

Hey guys, freaking out.  :frown:

this is my first tub grow, using Nepal spores. Got an awesome pinset and first flush, thing is: the new pindls were wrapped up in the flush so I've had to cut them all out or otherwise I'd have to rip out 4-5 pins for each mushie I would harvest.

Now my girl has got me concerned, I had excellent colonization throughout that stage, she mentioned she thought it was contained at first but hers and the dude that taught us doesn't usually colonize the entire substrate and casing. I dodnt really use a traditional casing, I guess just some leftover coir and verm.

Thats my sub is coir and very, spawned to wbs

I've read about catching it early and using either salt and baking soda. There's a huge new sweet of pins just developing in the past 24 hours bit now there is this weird white stuff on the top and a lot of pins have white stuff on them.

Also, the pins that were originally cut around are turning dark brown. Just not sure what to make of all this. Any and all help will be appreciated.

Thank you.

The mycelium is overtaking the fruits you left behind. If you are worried just pull them out. Salt can save it for a flush sometimes when you have a small part about to go green but that's not what that is.
