Kewl. Thanks. I've grown GT's for years but have yet to get any albinos. At least I know where to post about them when I do. Lol.

With ape swabs I streaked a bunch of plates but got no germination until I stuck the whole swab in the puck.
Like he said cutting pieces off works best. Somebody had a cool post about how to cut a swab so it peels back like a flower and you can rip each βpetalβ off and jam it into a plate.
I did that video...or at least one like it

Did it colonize fast? If so, there's a few clone worthy clusters in there. Could always try that.

Is that the swab set I sent you dude? Yeti is the only fruit I've ever swabbed so they couldn't have gotten confused with anything else. Weird

B21 said: This may be a silly question but do any of these tat varieties produce spores? Iβve swabbed one tat fruit, waited a week or a little longer then streaked a plate and nothing happened.
I find when using swabs that have dried the spores domt really come off with a swipe...I normally cut off a peice and cram it into the agar....also the og tat is known for a low spore count so if your wanting spores letting them over grow a bit is helpfull..Quote:

Put some yeti spores to agar a couple days ago. Can't wait to get them going, this thread adds some excitement. Where's demonic at? I figured he'd be here with his sexy ass yeti.

I think there may be something else to this than a mere labelling error. Not saying that's what happening here but I know from experience albino fruits do produce the rogue non-albino spores and these will grow reverts that aren't themselves albino.
Here is a post where I try to explain this in a little more depth.
It's going to be interesting to see what Roar's boxes pull out.

Roar I feel that pain.. I started more projects than I have no pour's to keep up with. I have not poured a plat since 16 but am thinking I need to order a box stat.
I threw PG on agar last night. Really looking forward to this one.
