Never saw those. Boy have I heard a lot about them though. Had a friend see those on Ayahuasca. They seem to be a feature of really intense trips. I hear about them more on Ayahuasca experiences.
I also hear about a lot of demons on Ayahuasca experiences. One followed my friend home to recruit more Ayahuasca participants or so he claims. It took him a long time to cleanse himself of this demonic looking spirit. This is why I'm a bit terrified of trying Ayahuasca. I'd have to have absolute trust in the Shaman helping me along and even then I'd be reluctant.
The only entities I've ever seen are:
1. The mushroom/gnomes. I feel like these little guys are the mushrooms or around the mushrooms. They are always present with my more intense mushroom trips. As DJ Ed said always in the corners. Very funny little guys. Always laughing at something.
2. Cheribum. I only saw this Cherub by my bed when I had my near death/ego death experience on mushrooms. It's easily the most interesting and intense vision I've ever had of a creature not of this earth or plane. It's even visited me in minds eye a few times since.
3. Ganesh or an elephant guide of some kind. Very briefly but very distinctly.
4. Dead human spirits felt very intensely around my ego death experience. I didn't see them. Just a feeling.

I saw fairies about 3 years back off I seem to remember only 3.1g dry. It was just enough to get transcendence. I’d been outside with the ex around a fire, just sitting and chilling in the cool,= evening. Then the fairies came down, little figures glowing with a white iridescence, with tiny little wings. They were all just sort of floating straight downwards and up again. And it was the absolute peak. The sensations lasted about ten minutes then the come down started
Take care DJ Ed

Personally i've never encountered entities on Aya, and i think demon talk is ridiculous. In all my time of working with Aya (daily/near daily for 4 years straight), never once came across anything remotely demonic or negative. I think it has a lot to do with a persons mindset/headspace and thoughts and misperceiving what's going on. Also people can feel the intensity and fear/panic and get scared and think something evil is going on when really it's all in your head, imo.
Aya to me is very spiritual/mystical and healthy and Light-filled, not even close to being a portal for demons to manifest. People in the Aya facebook groups for example always say "you shouldn't take Aya without a shaman because it opens up your aura to negative energies", lol, i think you're more likely to be exposed to negative energies when around other people, even shamans. I take everything alone/solo, never had an issue.
One may try Psilohuasca though, could be a little different, although it seems to take me to the same places as Aya.

I also don't tend to get closed eyed visuals from Aya, for me it's all about the body, mind, soul/spirit and feeling. So idk if it's people seeing things with closed eyes and then thinking it's real or what, if i do get visuals it's usually just enhanced mental visualization/mental imagery, never seen/felt anything otherworldly.
The only time i ever encountered what felt like spirits, was one time when listening to a song i noticed hearing what sounded like two people talking really fast, kinda muffled, in the background of the song, and when i became aware of it i started focusing on it and then the voices stopped for a second when they noticed i became aware of them, one then said "i didn't know he could hear spirits", and the other said "i didn't know he could either", and the voices just disappeared. I was like "wtf was that?" lol.

I've also gotten some of what sounded like child laughter or giggling a few times, which could've been similar to the faeries or gnomes people talk about. Like in my pitch black room i'd get this sensation that something would be in the corner moving around and i'd hear this child-like giggling/laughing coming from it.

You are the first person I have met familiar with the book I Am That! I use the book like some use a bible. I have had it for years and am not quite done. I read each sentence and try to understand and imagine if it were true. I rarely read more than one section at a time. And sometimes, I just open it randomly and hope it applies to what I need to learn right now. On a less esoteric note, have you read "Why Buddhism Is True" by Richard Wright? Awesome book. I listened to it in the shower every morning in 7-10 minute increments lol.
My brother takes this book everywhere with him. I too have a copy that I take everywhere with me. I keep it in the car for road trips. It's a beautiful book even more beautiful because someone had to go get this wisdom. He did not put it out to the press like Eckhart.
I have not heard of the other book you mention but I will definitely be checking it out now. Thank you for the recommendation
Fun fact, I live in San Bernardino where this book is published. Or so I've been told.

Very interesting observation about Aya. My friend said the same thing. He would take it with trusted friend but never again with a Shaman (in Peru) trying to make a quick buck. I think most of these demonic/bad spirit presences are probably due to the Shaman overseeing the ritual who's more interested in your dollars than your enlightenment. So I'm told they make shady deals with these entities.
I believe them to real and on a different plane of existence although of course a lot of it is misinterpreted and needlessly feared. If you youtube entity attachment on youtube some of the sufferers appear quite genuine. I wouldn't trust it but for my friend who had a similar experience and aside from the aya is the most straight laced guy I know who did not believe in any of this before he encountered one.
It changed him and haunted him for a time. I don't think that was in his head. Also because of what I saw in my own experiences many years later after his.
I think it's hard to separate fact from fiction when talking about these experiences but that's where faith comes in. I believe in these entities but I do not try to summon or fuck with them. I am just in awe when I've seen them. I truly believe them to exist just not on this plane.

Well i'm certainly not dismissing the possibility spirits/entities exist. I'm open to whatever comes my way during these experiences, so who knows, maybe one day i'll encounter something more concrete. Though i do think people are more likely to encounter scary stuff if they're mentally experiencing fear, fear feeds/attracts the scary stuff imo. I just try to relax, calm down, breathe, clear the mind, let go and listen to music when i get on edge or stressed/freaked out during an experience, it helps a lot to keep things more positive and less freaky deeky.

Absolutely agree positive loving energy, confident assertive energy stops them from invading my space. Up to a point. If I've taken too much I've got no choice. I'm gonna see shit.
I play the guitar. It keeps them at bay if I don't want to go over that cliff. But then I am resisting it a bit. But sometimes I don't want to give them permission to come in and I just tell them to fuck off. Because you have to defend yourself against them a bit. I don't want to form relationships with them. I am Christian and I don't think God meant for us to fuck with those from the other side or on other planes. It's what got us kicked out of the Garden. But these are just my personal beliefs and I always remain open to new possibilities.
Once you see them it's much easier to see them again. It's hard to shut them out if I take anything over 2-3 grams dry.

DJ Ed said: Dude I almost always get the gnomes or elves. Generally they’re in corners and along skirting boards but there re thousands of them.
Do you get the fairground people? I often find myself in a fairground ride, one of those like a Merry go round. But there are hundreds of mushroom people on there with me. We all sway and bop to the music in sync, and throng together. Even when they look really scary, they are almost always perceived as my mushroom family. The hordes.....
Check out this book cover from Michael Moorcock, the gnomes look pretty much like this for me:

Hey loaded, do you see the evil jester? Looks like harlequin, but is generally white, red and black. And very menacing
Mush love DJ Ed
Yes I see it!
I've yet to get McKenna-level-self-dribbling-jewel-basketballs, but I've seen almost all else, lol.

wolfman42 said: Yes I see the little gnomes (whatever they are) almost every time I have a decent trip. They laugh at everything I do. They are quite proud of themselves that's the feeling I get from them. They to me are the mushrooms but I don't really know. I think of them as the mushrooms inserting themselves in my trip and being all meta. I think of them as the guides and the ones making the experience possible.
They seem to be a permanent feature of any of my trips that go beyond just the usual visuals.
They look somewhat like you describe. I see them in my periphery usually not head on. I love feeling their presence. They seem very childlike. They do appear to be or having red tops and big grins and beards? I only see them in the corners as DJ Ed described. I've never had one sit right in front of me.
Unfortunately no fairies. What a sight that would be though.
Saw a floating elephant head which I took as Ganesh. Shrouded in pink/purplish light. He appeared to me very distinctly towards the end of my last trip. Just for a moment as if to give me a message. That was pretty awesome too.
Great post and very interesting!
