Please help me identify if this is a possible mold growth. I am a first time grower and this is my second batch of jars that I have introduced into the fruiting chamber. The first batch did not have any kind of growth like this on the cakes. But the new ones have a white fuzzy like growth on the bottom of them. I’m not sure if it’s mycelium growth or possible contamination.

Mold is not just gonna pop up on a fully colonized of cake at 65% hp like yours is.
(Question:)Is this pre first flush or post 1st flush?
You have 100% humidity but 0% fresh air exchange. Your cakes are not in HORRIBLE shape just YET. That is mycellium growing that fuzzy stuff to convince yourself grab a sample smell and twirl and put it under microscope if you have one.
Action Steps: Convert whatever that thing the mushrooms are into a SGFC that thing has no holes your cakes are dry and foil is too big there is no FAE,
(Question:) Are you misting ? (Question:) Are the missing chunks on top places where you scraped non colonized cake away?
Not sure just what to do "Re dunk and roll and then put in sgfc or just convert to SGFC and leave em alone?" I am sure of the steps doing the tek not sure how best jump to sgfc would be. but either sgfc or sgfc and dunk and roll.
(Question:) please take pic of your entire set up after SGFC conversion for further scrutiny.

This is pre first flush, they have been sitting in the fruiting chamber for almost a week now.
I do not have a microscope just yet, if I was to grab a sample of it and smell it what kind of smell should I be looking for?
From what you see in the pictures it does not look like any kind of mold growth at all?
So I need to add holes to this container that I am keeping them in? I mist and fan 3-4 times daily. I’m still new so I do not know what SGFC, or FAE stand for.
With this setup I had produced a decent amount growth from 2 cakes not in the picture but still in the same fruiting chamber. What were produced were not quite as big as I wanted them to be, nor as potent as I thought they would be. But nonetheless produced a good amount for me to be able to start micro dosing.
I am completely open to any tips, tricks, or opinions on how to make this little setup better. I will attach a photo of what my current setup is.

Yeah I can't se what you are worried about.
SGFC is a chamber with 1/4 inch holes ever 2 inches all over that allows fresh air to pull from the bottom of the chamber through the top creating air circulation and helping promote pinning through a humidity exchange process. It allows air currents to pull moisture from the bottom out the top bringing the moist air from the perlite and out the top also giving the mushrooms fresh air exchange. Use the search engine for SGFC.

the overwhelming mushroomy smell that everything else smells exactly like. Once you get your first mushroom and smell it you will see it all smells the same.
It is hard to find a good sgfc tek but use the search function and read up I'm not going to be able to explain everything the SGFC is and does and you be able to understand everything about how it works unless i copy and paste a bunch of shit.
I can also say sgfc is the most up to date free thing (pearlite needs to be 5 inches tall seems like you need bit more.) you can do for those mushrooms right this second
