if not, what are they and can i still trip w them lol? (pics at the end) Habitat: country:Venezuela (in the north of south america) Where does it grow? I found it in my backyard. What does it grow on? just grass
Gills: brown-ish grey (ive attached a pic in the end of the post)
Stem: Length: between 3.5/4cm to 6cm Diameter: pretty thin Color: beige n kinda brown
Cap: Diameter: 0.5-1cm, color: a light beige a bit grey-ish and it has brown/grey dot at the top, texture: smooth, spherical and concave
Spore print color: Its black w hints of navy blue, in some places its lighter like a grey but i think that might be because i didnt leave it for a long time
Bruising: it bruises a dark navy blue, and i cut one and dropped a bit of water on top and after a bit some blue liquid started coming out , the borders of the cap after i plucked it several hours ago are dark blue

These Look To Be A Panaeolus In The (Copelandia) Group As Stated Above, Probably Not Cyanescens, Looks To Be A Different Sp. Definitely Should Be Active, Very Nice Finds

you should save them for dna sequencing and water your lawn everyday. these could be something interesting for science. start looking around the area for more

Has There Ever Been Any Cows/Horses In The Yard?
If I'm Not Mistaken As I Remember Pans In The (Copelandia) Group Are Dung Lovers.
I Could Be Mistaken, But These Could Also Be An Active Lawn Pan, Closely Related To Pan. Cinctulus Or Similar

nope, the closest we've had to that are dogs.
oh i saw a vid of a guy showing some cinculus and they did look pretty similar to these ones, the other ones ive seen in the garden look more like it tho, they are brown and have that lil line and the spores are super dark. Wikipedia sayd theyre not found in my country but theyre found in brazil which is next to it so idk

By any chance do you have lots of wild rabbits or other small animals that eat vegetation? I've wondered if wild Panaeolus can grow on rabbit droppings, I think that might have happened on my lawn once.
Also, I'm very impressed by your photos! Great job at getting crisp details on both the mushrooms and the grasses!

Seems to be some copelandia species that haven't been named, a couple of which aren't described as corophilic, 2 even growing from wood. If there is no ruminant animal dung in your yard then I would like to believe you could very possibly have an undescribed species of copelandia growing! Maybe you should contact alan rockefeller personally and ask his opinion, I'm sure he would be excited to sequence it

Yeah, With Pans Like These, It's Hard To Narrow It Down To Sp Level, Because So Many Look Similar Macroscopically.
Most Of The Time It Takes Microscopy To Be Able To Differentiate Them.
However There Are No Known Toxic Members Of The Panaeolus Genus, Or Any Toxic Black Spored Mushrooms To Be Exact, So They Are Completely Safe.
There's Really No Way To Tell You How Potent They Are Though, I'd Start Low & Take More If You Need To (Within About An Hours Time)
Nice Finds,
