ID help with a few possible edibles?

These were the only two I wasnt able to clearly ID. Northwestern Pennsylvania, December/January. Weather was just above freezing for a few days, so I went to the woods (or at least, some vacant property near my house). They were both right at the edge of a feild, which is what initially led me to think the big ones are clitocybe saeva (feild blewits) along with the slight purple-pink tone. But the spores went from an off-white initially, to a rusty yellow-brown after awhile. Thinking the others could be late-fall oysterlings (panellus serotinus) and I think I'm too late for spores on them. If they are p. serotinus, I'd like to try to cultivate them so any help here would be vastly appreciated. Thanks!

PS - Felt like giving up after trying to make ONE POST for over 30 minutes. Twice now, Ive almost gotten all of the pics uploaded (an unnecessarily tedious task) just to have all the work disappear with no explanation once the upload bar gets to 100%. Why do I have to have the pics in the account just to make a post with them? Not to mention navigating this place is worse than trying to navigate the backwaters of the mind... This is why I dont use the site more often and cant use the marketplace yet. I'm sorry I'm not trying to offend whoever designed it, it's just been extremely frustrating.

First one is more than likely Lepista (Clitocybe) nuda

Panellus serotinus is more widely accepted under the name Sarcomyxa serotina these days. I almost always see them on logs that still retain their bark (ie more recently fallen/dead). I imagine that they will grow on a hardwood substrate - try asking in the mushroom cultivation forum; I imagine there are plenty of folks there who would be keen on helping you get some Sarcomyxa started!

Thanks guys.
I originally thought it might be l. nuda since they were growing more in the deadfall than the feild. Those would be cool to try to grow. Does the purple tint usually fade after they dry?
The sarcomyxa didnt really look alot like any of the examples I found online, it's pronouncedly more orange-reddish but the gills look right. It's the only one that fits the time of year for my area though. Just bought some hickory chips they'll probably enjoy (but eventually I'd like to try a log with them).
Has anyone ever eaten either of these? I'm new to wild foraging and generally don't enjoy store-bought fungi.

Yes , Lepista nuda fade away with age. No purple remain. It is very good edible. There is a guy here nick HAKR who hunts them and likes to eat em. Maybe he will chime in for a advice on how to prepare them and maybe grow them.

The youtube channel Learn Your Land has two great videos on S. serotina. I remember him describing the mushroom as tough and it may require some extra cooking.
Mushrooms have a great variety of flavor and texture. I'd recommend trying a small amount the first time you try a mushroom and use olive or canola oil instead of butter so you can really taste the mushroom. That being said, butter is awesome, but it will often burn by the time your shrooms are cooked, so if you use it, add it after mostly cooking in oil.
I often just put cooked mushrooms on salads or eat them alone; no need to get all fancy chef with it. (Unless you want to, but if you don't already have the skills it can be a frustrating endeavor).

Also, the cap colors of S. serotina can vary greatly. That being said, I don't know 100% that all those specimens are truly S. serotina. I've never seen them so red before, could be too old, infected with bacteria/fungi, or frozen and thawed too hard and the cell walls broke and the mushrooms are mushy.

Always let the spore print dry before determining spore color!!!
Lepista nuda Pretty sure you got the second one right.
Edit: Lepista saeva is a grass dweller, it was moved from Clitocybe to Lepista a few years ago when the Genus Clitocybe was revised.

Both of these were thawed leftovers from last month, I don't think the weather was warm long enough to produce them... Just found some rust-gilled polypores today in the same area! Really starting to fall in love with fungi, so I cant say 2020 was all bad.

My love for mycology definitely blossomed in 2020. Wait until it warms up - you'll become obsessed!

Oh trust me, I cannot wait. I'm smack in the middle of Ovoid country, and I know where they pop up! (Timing is the real bitch with them) Do these blewits go all year long? Its hard to find specific info... I remember seeing them in the same spot back in like September. Also, the "oysterling" has a very peculiar look to it now that it's dry. The gills took on a rusty orange color, not the yellow I was expecting. Are there any other little shelves that like to grow in winter? None of the others I could find look anything like it. Everything but the color looks right on it.
