I'm simply telling you that's not what I voted for, whether Trump encouraged it after the election or not.
Again, if you insist on make believing it's what I want, I'm going to say "that's what you voted for" every time Biden does something undesirable, even if it's clear that's not the reason you voted for him.
But I'll try not to play these childish games.

Clearly I didn't vote for rushing the capitol, that should be clear.
I voted for what I believed to be the anti-establishment, just like others voted for what they believed to be "not Trump".

So when he refused to commit to peaceful transition of power, why did you vote for him, knowing this would be the outcome?
Knowing the outcome now, do you withdraw your support for the man who did this?

He said wouldn't commit to it if he got cheated. That seemed reasonable to me.
He's now committed to a peaceful transition of power and asked his supporters to go home.

Does that bring back the 4 people killed by his actions? Why don't you hold the man responsible for what he did?
You think it's reasonable to use violence if you get cheated?

Falcon has been making excuses for people who behave like Donald trump for years. He knew what he was voting for. He’s not stupid. He likes dictators.

You knew what voting for the populist / anti-establishment right would get you.

Sure but like shiva noted, that’s how you get fascism. The right co opts leftist language and uses it to consolidate power. It’s no accident that Carlson, Enjeti, and others have begun ceding ground to leftist rhetoric. This isn’t due to a sudden change in heart, it’s because the right wing sees a generational crisis on the horizon and they know they’ll stop getting the votes they need if they don’t make some concessions.

If election fraud could be proven, yes. It wasn't yet proven, so I disagree with the protests.

Yes, I already said I should have voted Green, but that it didn't really matter because I live in California, which easily went to Biden.

Do you not understand that is exactly how most of us here think about you? You make excuses for Putin. You make excuses for Maduro. You make excuses for MBS. You make excuses for Assad.

A question for the people who are arguing: how many presidents have said they were going to do something and then when they get in office they either don't do it at all or they do the complete opposite? Unless it was in the campaign, nobody voted for shit that the president did.

I still say that, after this insurrection has been put down, we gather up all their bones, grind them up, and make public toilets out of them.

I mean, I personally don't believe it really matters who the president is. Mostly just a PR person for a country whilst signing random bills they're given.
So i don't vote
I thought the protests were funny
