I take it you picked some up, I remember you saying you planned on it!
Reminds me,it's about time I picked up some candles and see what other goodies call out to me. Been wanting to find some nice moonstone as well. I'll have to ask about moss agate

first time I've heard of such gem. I started collecting volcanic rocks, (RED,BLUE,BLACK,WHITE) beautiful stones awhile back, since once a week, we let our tap drinking water pass thru vortex and let the downward flow smash thru different collection of rocks mimicking a natural water falls for that mineralization and oxygenation. I would love to look for merlinite near our place to include it in the collection. thanks for mentioning it.

I picked up some merlinite chips, some moonstone bracelets (one for each wrist), and I now have two 6" crystal spheres/balls; one is crystal quartz, the other black obsidian. I've selected stones based on intuition and research and I'm noticing some neat correlations even if I'm just placebo-ing myself.
All of this shit is incredibly cheap there is no waste in cost I've spent less than $100 total on like, 5 books, stones, spheres, altar stuff, etc. Most of it is a one-time purchase anyway.
Enjoy!

That's funny, my selection process sounds about the same..haven't started the altar yet,but moonstone seemed to be the next gem calling out!

6" spheres are huge, I've got a smaller black obsidian one along with a couple other ones (blue apatite, quartz). Love those crystals!

I misspoke! One is about 4" and the other is 2". Together they're 6" LOL. I LOVE spheres; I feel exceptionally drawn to them. I did a small ceremony with some incense last evening, you can see here:

yeah 6" would be huge! Even 4" is quite a big sphere! I love the spheres too, and crystals in general - I've got quite a big collection

Glass and reconstituted ones are pretty cheap yes, but a genuine natural quartz crystal sphere in 6" can run you anywhere from around $1000 to $10000+ depending on transparency, inclusions etc.

Correct my friend! I have a moonstone sphere on its way from England, as well! I'll post pics as soon as it arrives.

Just got my first small shipment of blue goldstone in, and I LOVE it.
I'll post pics a bit later.

Here are my blue goldstone chip bracelets and a very small sphere:
I have a 78mm (just over 3 inches) true blue goldstone sphere coming (was not cheap but well worth it, quality is incredible this'll be my centerpiece stone by far); Here are the actual pics from the seller so you can see the size comparison:
On its way, should be here on or before my birthday next week; stoked!

here's some of my collection, crappy photos though (it's dark in here and with flash they look even worse). I've got quite a lot of crystals (and more on their way)
it becomes quite the habit lol

Nice batch of stones there, Deff! I'm nowhere near that volume, lol. I have a large crystal quartz sphere (6" diameter) a moderate obsidian sphere (4"), and the 3" blue gold stone coming as we speak. I feel connectivity holding larger spherical stones/gems. I like to keep that small piece of blue goldstone sphere in my pocket as a daily carry!

I love lying down with one on my forehead (3rd eye) and one or more on my heart, the energies can be quite powerful. there's some very special crystal species out there, so many different ones each with unique energies and effects. to me they are evolutionary accelerators / catalysts I love them!

I agree my friend. Do you have a meter, by chance? It's interesting to see if some give off EMF readings or other readings. I truly feel Quartz is an amplifier, Obsidian to ground, and then pick a third crystal/stone and combine the three! So far my experiments with those two and the blue goldstone appear to be making some interesting correlations, even if it's just placebo, lol.
Where do you usually get your stones, out of curiosity?
