I have just harvested the second flush and wanna replace the trays with new one, so I have 4 big trays to throw away. They have only produced 2 flushes so they're still active and if I just dump them somewhere they will fruit. And ite bad for me. How can I get rid of them ? Don't suggest go to the woods , there isn't any wood here and dont have a car Don't suggest compost them, I'm living in an apartment with police neighbours and we don't have any garden anyway. Any suggestions ?!

Either compost it and grow some plants or put it in the trash like everything else you throw away.

No fire place We have a big garbage can that all the neighbours throw their garbage there and im afraid if i throw the used subs there someone would accidentally meet a bag full of magic mushrooms and get suspicious

if I compost them there's a chance mushrooms will grow there and ill go to the jail. If I throw them in my garbage bag I'm afraid they will also grow there as they are a lot of substrate every now and then!

What about introducing contaminations to the substrates so they can't grow anyway!

Your best option is likely to double bag it with some heavy duty black trash bags and throw it out in your normal apartment garbage area.
Tossing it outdoors anywhere in a city is sketchier, having to travel with it and cameras and general prohibitions against illegal dumping etc. Not recommended.
Double bagged, no one's really gonna see what's inside unless they specifically go looking. Toss it at night when no one's around, only one or two bags at a time.
I've thought about introducing contaminants as well, especially with colder temperatures here meaning clean subs tossed after 2nd flush won't decompose all too quickly. Let me know if you find a good way to do that short of throwing in some moldy bread with it.
Last choice, I found a thread a while ago that involved blending your used substrate up with water and flushing it down the toilet. Was a bit too work intensive for me on a regular basis but if you just have a few one time tubs I'd look into it.
That being said, no one's really gonna be digging through trash, I understand having snitch neighbors but who is really going through trash. As long as your shit doesn't tear apart and spill coir and grain and aborts everywhere you'll be fine tossing it as you would your normal garbage.

U could add something dry to dry out the shredded-up substrate. Sand maybe? Dry-Rid? Mushrooms need water to grow so a dry substrate is a good idea.
Use heavy-duty black trash bags and throw out when its either right before trash pick-up or right after it.

Just chuck it out the window at night. It'll smash to an extent no one will calculate the trajectory. Could be any hooligan chucking myc in the street.

Hey thats a good idea to throw some moldy bread in there, I'm gonna prepare some haha.. Aw no flushing in the toilet is not good , its a lot of sub man and if it clumps it will make a serious problem that would involve neighbours. Double bag with a moldy bread and one hour before the garbage truck arrives

Yeah I was also thinking about drying it to the point where its impossible for them to grow , tried to heat the shredded sub in a large pot but mam it produced the most nastiest smell ever haha.. it was like smelling a huge fire of plastic ! The sand is a good idea but it makes it heavier and it is heavy enough right now.
