Attention world: These idiots making fools out of themselves and putting lives in danger " storming the capitol" are just delusional, renegade trouble makers.
I would not be surprised if some of them were paid by either Trump or the Russians/Chinese to do so.
It's making a mockery out of Americans and America, sort of like how Trump has been doing for a while now, and it's clearly gone to far. It's OVER. It's been over. Go lay down for a while republicans, because you have LOST- both the Senate and Presidency.
Look- I don't even care who's in office BTW- But I do care about these idiots ruining the reputation of our good nation, and putting lives at risk. Shame on them all!
THESE IDIOTS DO NOT REPRESENT MOST AMERICANS- Not that it's my place to defend America or the people living here, but it's easy to judge a book by it's (news) covers- and I can imagine what other nations are thinking right now.
- Like how the national guard sent 5000 troops to Kenosha - but NONE to the US capital?
What kind of major oversight was that?

They sent 5000 national guard troops yesterday before the announcement that Kenosha was NOT going to charge the police for murder in a nationally publicized killing.
But like, for the confirmation of the president, given all that's happened in the last month to not have the national guard there, and have to wait a few hours for them to arrive?
Who is running the show? And then Pence is trying to blame the protesters..... It's probably his fault for not getting security for such a MAJOR day. It's just baffling, to be honest.

Congress needs to be put into check and I don't care what the catalyst is to do so at this point. The Left should be joining them today for their own reasons.

Yes. Some of them. And this is going to have a huge fallout for the new Rapidly Spreading highly contagious coronovirus strain. I'm seeing tons of people without masks, all closly huddled. And we know that masks don't' actually stop the spread, only slow it down. So like, the hospitals are already overwhelmed. And now a woman is shot in the neck who knows how much damage was done there or if she survives?
Every single person who quote "stormed " the capitol SHOULD be punished, but so should the politicians who allowed it to get to that point in the first place.

No. They definitely do represent America. There are millions of people out there who are sick and tired of the status quo and are finally fed up to the fucking point that now that they've realized their vote literally doesn't matter, and that they are slaves to the corporations, that the only thing left to do is to stand up and DEMAND change.
I'm not saying it's right. But that's how people feel.
But don't try to marginalize the anger people are feeling. The anger is real. And some would argue it is justified.

I hear you, but I tend to disagree. Peoples vote DID matter.
The democrats won, so almost exactly 50% of the nation might FEEL like their vote didn't count. But it did. It was just a close call, and they lost is all.
It's hard to accept defeat with such a close margin, I know, but like, the election was fair and they lost, and now these riots are just adult temper tantrums that are undoubtedly going to cost lives.
I understand what you're saying about the status quo- and being sick of things/slaves to the system etc. But they will get NOWHERE "demanding change". And what was the point of storming congress anyways? Just to slow down the INEVITABLE of democrats taking power of the US Government.
Trump has poisoned the mentality of Americans who support him. It's borderline brainwashing. The people rioting today are clearly brainwashed. - And I will stand by my stance, these idiots DO NOT represent Americans as a whole.
