Oh right someone asked "How exactly was Trump beneficial to the common working man?"
If you don't know the answer to this, you've chosen not to learn about perspectives that differ from your own. People have been talking about this for over 4 years. How could you miss it?!
Nah...
I've been trying to learn about the perspectives of others, particularly those that support the former president and those that feel he is "the greatest president that's ever existed", for a while now....I've been asking questions for a couple years or so now and have yet to get any straight forward answers at all from anyone. I have asked this exact question and others relating to it about 5 or 6 times now in several different threads on the shroomery (and on FB, and in real life, and on other forums), not one single outspoken supporter of the former president has replied to my questions or they give a joke of a reply like you did totally avoiding the question.
It seems like most people just like to point fingers at others, argue, get off on drama, get off on "needing to be correct"....I'm just trying to ask some simple questions and have conversation about things to get a genuine understanding of others. I don't understand why people support Trump and speak so highly of him, and at this point I honestly don't think the people that support him have any real idea why they do either (I have yet to get any answer from any trump supporter about why).
Anytime I ask very simple straight forward questions to those that support/stand behind the former president I don't get any straight forward answers, I actually don't get any answers at all. I either get called names and have ad hominem attacks thrown my way, or I get labeled a "liberal" or antifa or some other non-sense (I don't align with any political party btw)....Or people avoid the question and start asking "what about?....", or people just give a joke/garbage answer.
Your reply to the question I asked, "How exactly was Trump beneficial to the common working man?", is exactly the sort of crap I'm talking about. You didn't make any effort to convey the reasons why you support or stand behind the former president.
...you just turned my question around as if it is my fault that I don't understand why you and others support the former president and consider him to be on the greatest president and greatest thing to ever happen to this country.
Many of you are extremely vocal about him being so "great"...I'm simply asking, why? What aspects of his presidency were beneficial to the common/working man? What aspects of his presidency was so great for this country? Why are so many of you so damn hyped about the former president and act as if he is god-like, it's as if he is worshipped and can't do any wrong. I see a lot of cult-like qualities among those who support the former president.
Many of you make super grand claims about his presidency, all I'm asking for is some simple explanations about why you stand where you do....Please elaborate!
If one was the greatest president and one of the greatest things to ever happen to this country it should be pretty simple to give an explanation of such.

The only straight answer I've gotten from someone was along the lines of "Well, I like the wall" .. which in my opinion was a colossally stupid waste.. and tells me something about the ermm 'priorities' of the person.. but at least it's a tangible thing.

When you ask people about why trump was so great why would you expect anything less. He was only able to fill his supporters minds with empty rhetoric so that's all they have to repeat.

Trump benefited the common man because he (at-least attempted) to prioritize certain aspects of the economy, like jobs. He refused to initiate a nationwide covid lockdown because, like it or not, they hurt small businesses and destroy the economy (whether you agree with it or not, it's true.) He also prioritized jobs over the environment - which is also good for the economy and the middle class in general, despite the destruction it brings. I'm not saying that's *morally right*, but it is just a fact.
Biden on the other hand will do whatever his corporate overlords order him to, which you can almost certainly guarantee will not benefit anyone other than big business, wall street, the bankers, and the military industrial complex. I mean, they don't really make any effort to hide it either.
This is pretty basic, easy to understand stuff here.
Gee, how dare someone vote for Trump because they came to the only logical conclusion that Trump will give them a better shot economically rather than literally selling their futures to some billionaire. They must be a white supremacist!

Yet he managed to lose more jobs than any president in history.
Trump supporters don’t care about results. They just like to hear things that make them feel special. Someone to tell them they’re not losers, when they clearly are.

Trump could have supplemented small businesses like he did for Wall Street, why didn't he? If he did, nobody would have cared about the lock downs, correct?
Trump failed the US worker and only benefited the very rich, that's what the economic data reveals. Why do people deny this reality? And yes, Obama did the same thing and so will Biden. Trump wasn't any different.

I didn't ask about Biden.
Trump gave you three debatable sentences worth of good things. He must be a real champion.

Of course, the smart republicans, the ones with two brain cells to rub together, understand that they don't want to live in the places they rule. That's most of Texas leadership was MIA.
Everyone knew that Texas Republicans created a colossal piece of shit, that's why they took the money and left the state.
Same with Trump.

You're wrong in most of the things you say in this thread, it's incredible how you managed to twist your brain into what it is now. Please, please, lay off the QAnon Kool-aid. At least take a one month break from it. If Trump was prioritizing jobs then he needs to have done a far better job at combating the COVID19 pandemic. He let hundreds of thousands of Americans die to the virus. You need to instill confidence in the job market. Trump instilled fear and uncertainty into the job market. That is not the way you prioritize jobs, chopstick.
