Exactly how does pushing renewables benefit the oil and gas industry unless you're talking about blue hydrogen? Also, how does halting arms sales benefit the military/arms manufacturing industry?
The working class don't do jack shit when it comes to creating jobs by the way. Investment doesn't fall from the sky if that's what you mean by the term 'elites'.

Low cost electricity is key to competitive industry. Creating the right enviroment for investment in renewables is a great way to create jobs across the board. Biden understands this.
Workers wages/productivity are a separate issue.

Why should I debate someone from Australia about the real issues that need to be addressed by Biden in the US today? Maybe if you lived here you wouldn't get so excited about some energy agreement or arms deal.
Also, I don't need some rant about how fortunate we are to have billionaires dictating their crony capitalism to the peasants and to be happy with the "free market" results.

It's just interesting that these discussions only happen under democratic leadership.
Perhaps the democrats should approach leadership the same way as republicans, and focus on taking the money and burning whatever else they can get their hands on. That will really fix everything.

I was a responding to a post by the ecstatic, you chose to jump in now you're backing out whilst throwing shit as you leave... weak as piss
https://www.sbs.com.au/news/what-a-joe-biden-presidency-will-mean-for-australia
Australia has had a decade plus of inaction on climate change. Trump made it worse. Biden's words have already made an impact on the Australian governments position on climate change, whether you like it or not.
As for the fucked up wars your government has talked us into over the previous decades, it may come as a big surprise to your closed world view that we have payed a fucking huge price as well.
Don't bother fucking answering if you can't deal with the response either.... you fucking know all.

I’m betting they just go back to running interference for the Biden administration. “He’s only been in office for a month the mans not a superhero!” and “wow Biden did [bare minimum thing] what a breath of fresh air when compared to tRump!” etc etc
Dude what are you talking about. You seem off the rails. We are just living life now as happily as we can in a pandemic that wasn't hindered by a stupid president known as Trump who doesn't understand basic science. I seriously don't understand people like you. Why are you so negative?

There seems to be a particular brand of ""Leftist"" spreading around that seems to be more interested in seeing Biden/Democrats fail than actually putting any energy into making leftist ideals a reality.

Yep, plenty of cynicism on offer and zero ideas.
I'd fall over in surprise if they've ever given someone above award wage employment too.

How many Americans do those companies employ? If you worked for a tech company would you vote for an anti tech president ?
What has he backtracked on specifically in your opinion ?

Can you elaborate on how this is happening at the moment?
And during his 4 years, what did the former president do for the working class? I have yet to get any answers from Trump supporters on this and I've been asking it to dozens of people over the past year or so.
How exactly was Trump beneficial to the common working man?
How does Trump and the common/working man even relate to one another? The guy was born into $$$$$$$$ with a golden spoon in his mouth. He doesn't know what "work" even is. I doubt he's ever used a shovel or hammer, I doubt he's ever changed a tire or oil on a car. I doubt he's ever changed a light bulb. I doubt he's ever cleaned his own dishes. I doubt he's ever cleaned his own laundry. I doubt he's ever cleaned the barrel of a gun. I doubt he's ever pumped gas/filled up a gas tank. I doubt he's ever made a cheeseburger himself. I doubt he's ever mowed a lawn.
Trump is the epitome of the so-called "elite" class lol . I do not understand why ya'll are so hyped about a guy that does not relate to you or the majority Americans in any way at all.
The guy is extremely out of touch with what it is like to be common working man/working class American. He doesn't know what it's like to work or what it is like to be a common American. He absolutely does not know what it's like to struggle or what it's like to deal with hardships that many working class Americans have dealed with, he was born into $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Most people who claim they want to know why so many people continue to support Trump actually do not want to know the truth. I see this kind of fake interest everywhere. If anyone really wanted to know why Trumps views and values are so popular, they would read black conservative Republican authors and read a book such as "The Case For Trump" or many other best selling books that dissect the issues. But people don't want to know. People say they want to understand but that is untrue. Damnation usually requires embracing ignorance.
Notice how many black conservative Republican authors are guests on CBS, ABC, CNN, CNBC, NPR, PBS, and BBC.

That's such a foolish blanket statement to make. You've talked to most of those people? You've talked to the millions and millions of people included in that category? Yea, right. Since that's your opening line to your post the rest of your post seems pretty worthless.
But I read the rest anyways because I don't have shit to do right now and it seems you're randomly bringing up black people and how much they apparently support Trump? What made you feel the need to bring up that comment? Anyone supporting Trump is getting played, especially black people.

So acknowledging that Biden is sellout POS = Trump Supporter in your mind.
Trump is a POS sellout as well, how does that make Biden a good leader? Biden is the lesser of two evils and that's nothing to celebrate.
You do realize the progressives in the US absolutely despise Biden? Are they Trump supporters for pointing out Biden's obvious flaws?

I just want to suggest to my fellow progressive/leftists that they should be wary of falling into the trap of constant and absolute criticism of biden. You make us look dumb when you reach to gripe about every little thing. There are more productive ways to use our political energy.
