In no way is a person illegally carrying a weapon, and violating a curfew to participate in a riot “pro law and order”
He wasn’t hanging out with just any friends. They are were a bunch of proud boys and most of them are photographed flashing the white power sign.
In no way are these OK signs. Nobody on earth puts their hand in that position like the guy on the right when saying OK, or the like the fat dude in the second. You’re not being honest if you think they’re saying OK.

Chopstick, are you really trying to argue THIS means OK? Get the fuck out of here.

chopstick said: Find one of Rittenhouse's friends and have them testify that Rittenhouse holds white supremacist viewpoints and then I would believe you.
Seems like Rittenhouse's classmates thought he would be a mass shooter.
Quote:
Kyle Rittenhouse loved cops, guns, President Trump, and "triggering the libs," according to some of his former classmates at Lakes Community High School in Lake County, Illinois. His clothes were often branded with pro-police slogans, and he carried a Blue Lives Matter phone case, one student said.
Some of his classmates joked that he'd be a mass shooter one day. "I personally believe he went to Wisconsin with the intent to kill," said one former classmate, who asked not to be identified out of fear for their safety....
Rittenhouse was also known as a "ride or die" Trump supporter. "If you said anything bad about Trump, he'd threaten you," Joe said. In January, Rittenhouse even traveled to Iowa, where he had front row seats at a Trump rally, Buzzfeed reported. "Kyle was the type of kid to wear a MAGA hat or other apparel just for attention, or to "trigger" people," Joe added.
Another one of Rittenhouse's classmates said he used to refer to the school, located in a Chicago suburb, as "libtard af."
"Kyle was kind of shy from what I remember, but he was definitely in your face and pushed his views hella," they said. "Like one of those kids that liked 'triggering libtards.'"
Also, his mom tried to sue and get a restraining order on one of his classmates for apparently insulting young Kyle, so the whole family just sounds like a bunch of Karens.
EDIT: Bonus quote, lol:
Quote:
“When he got mad or offended he would always say he could ‘fuck me up,’ but everyone would just laugh because he was like a 5-foot-4 chubby freshman boy who we thought wasn’t capable of harm,” said Joe, who’s a minor and asked that his full name not be used.

If a symbol gets associated with racism you avoid doing it. Kyle certainly knows the recent adoption of that symbol by white supremacists. Everyone who uses that symbol in a photo op with proud boys are white supremacists. There's no grey area

That’s not plausible. Those are not OK signs. Nobody in the history of flashing an OK sign does it with the palm facing inward.
Screen cap from a stop the steal rally the night before the riot. MAGA is a white supremacist movement.

That’s from this report that breaks down the riots better than I’ve seen from American media

It’s interesting that most of the people being charged appear to be qanon inspired. Conspiracy theories are becoming the greatest threat to democracy.

Trump pandered to conspiracy theorists. It was an interesting pivot when Alex Jones turned political. Conspiracy theorists up until then skewed fringe left. Suddenly, they got attention from a major political party. It legitimized them, made them feel good.
It was a deft political move in 2016, one that likely cost Trump reelection in 2020.

I’m starting to think it’s more likely Biden is murdered than dies of natural causes.

Watch that video I posted from ITV. These people feel it would be a patriotic duty to kill Biden. This is different.
The public isn’t even going to be allowed to view the inauguration. Trump has completely fucked up the minds of millions of people.

He probably won't get shit as far as a pardon, I don't think Trump really cares about his supporters. Plus he seems to have finally got the memo that appearing to endorse the rioters puts him out on a limb legally.
