Found fruiting from pile of wood chips that I believe to be pine.

I'd say those are gymnopilus. I'm not good with the species and classes of these so that's as good as I can do lol

they were directly across parking lot from pile of pine chips where I found gym lutes last year. Didnt see any at original spot but found these and their appearance seems to differs slightly from them especially in stipe. Do you see anything that'd rule out that ID completely?

gymnopilus aeruginosus...all day long!!

The first pics cap is a dead give away...And I see some staining were these all you found? I also see the habitat fits them perfect as well its almost identical to mine minus the hickory nuts!!

Congrats on the find they can fruit just about all year long check back regularly :cheers:

325-400g for a solid good time in my experience and the tea tek I posted will cancel out all the bitterness...

Having a second look I am almost positive I see Hickory leaves on the ground...Did you study the habitat pbotos from my thread because you are def in a gymnopilus aeruginosus honey spot :fuckyeah:

Awesome! haha yeah i remember that thread of yours. this pile of chips is fairly new. I started checking it last year after i spotted some lutes across the lot though this is my first time finding fruits. there wasn't nearly enough out for that kind of dose rn but they def have plenty of substrate to feed off and spread about

They started fruiting in my spot when we fed the area fresh pine and oak chip piles with some scattered on ground and the area has lots of hickory debris...Enjoy the spot brother and congrats on the find

Im going to check my spot later today the storm and weather lately must have em actively fruiting again my patch was at a stand still...Havent checked it in a week though so thanks for the motivation :cheers:
