Why would B+ be growing slower than GT?

So my last run of mushrooms i grew Golden Teachers. Took 7 days to see Mycelium start and 21 days the 250ml jar was fully colonized and had multiple pins.
Once in the fruiting chamber it took 5-6 days to get mushrooms to the point the veil broke. Was way faster then i was expecting.
This time around i got B+ the spores are from a different supplier. They took only 3 days after inoculation before it had Mycelium grow, fastest I've ever seen.
22 days after inoculation the one jar was starting to pin, so i took both jars and put them in the fruiting chamber. Sadly the little couple pins fell off well take the cake out.
3 days in the chamber and had have 1 mushroom, its now day 5 still only one lonely mushrooms and its not even a inch big. It's growing very slow compared to Golden teacher which seemed to double its size every 12-24 hours.
I'm doing everything the same. What else besides spraying, fanning and keeping humidity can i do, if anything? The tub is at 72F,and it always moist they're never dry. i'm not sure of the humidity i need a new hydrometer. I assume its just as high as last time which it said 99%.
(I may update with new details later on, if i get a new hydrometer, the old one rusted and the digital display gave out from the last run.)
Perhaps i should've left them colonize abit longer.
The cakes have started to grow more mycelium and its starting to have clumps of mycelium, which i assume is good it looks like tiny pins maybe forming on the one cake.
Is B+ just a slower strain, i know its a cube like GT. But from what I've read B+ is one of the faster strains. Could it be poor genetics?

It's just the dice of spores. Nothing to do with being B+ or GT. Sometimes you get awesome growth, sometimes you get shitty growth. If you want consistency, clone mycelium that performs well.

After a few months of work on my B+ cubes on agar I was able to get a fast growing and potent culture. Of course I was running like 15-20 shoeboxes of it at the time while selecting specific clones. Also Shroower I love ur profile pic. It made me guffaw like a cow.

Never heard of cloning mycelium, I'll differently looking into this.
