Makes no sense in my head but have read a few articles now. But makes total sense with my observations of what is happening in there. Thanks so much, think this will help alot.

Just ask yourself this question what are clouds and are they low to the ground or high in the sky?
Taku whoever helped you set up that tent sure knows what he is doing. Short stipes tell the story your tent is set up perfectly!! I am very happy to see results like these.

I bet you do not have a circulation fan in your tent. A circulation fan will make the room have even humidity from top to bottom. It will also keep co2 from building up around your mushrooms and causing long stipes.

Nope two fans, and was due adjustments soon anyway. They can be adjusted correctly now. I have a much better idea of the problem. I don’t need to ask myself about clouds just needed the obvious pointed out!! Thanks

That's my whole point its obvious clouds are humidity and they rise.
Where do you have the fans? Are they exhaust and intake or do you actually have a circulation fan?...

Thanks shroomsisay! I'm watching things closely now because I finally got my bucket humidifier set up so it will change the conditions. Hopefully for the better. I upped my humidity some and the thing blasts in humidity so I'm getting a higher RH after shutdown than with my basic humidifier.
Will keep you posted.

Jealous. Making new bags has been on standby but I've got the 8x10x8 tent half way constructed! My grains colonizing anyways. What are you using for your substrate in the bucket and are you doing LC injections or g2g?

I cut off my system at 90% and it continues to rise to 97%. MY system comes on at 89% so it stays between 89% and 97%. The humidity sensors are not fast enough to read the humidity. My room goes from 89% to 97% in like 10 seconds.

I'm just using pasteurized straw. These are actually old grow kits that I grew out into buckets.

Okay, so I can dial up my humidity then.

I'm curious about pasteurization but straw is not a commodity here in Louisiana. They use pine straw and I'm not sure that'll work. Do you supplement it?

I'm living in rural ag country in Canada so there is straw everywhere. I didn't supplement it, but it's oat straw, so maybe that makes a difference.
Gathering materials to switch to making blocks however.

I've got the same size tent and have been running it with a single disc fogger in a 5 gallon bucket with great results. I also opted for a 4 inch inline exhaust fan but it only pulls 90cfm. For lights I used some cool white led icicle Christmas lights I had laying around.

I use hydrated lime in a cold water soak for 12-24 hours to pasteurize straw for my oyster buckets. It has worked very well with 2-3 good flushes.
The lion's mane was my first test of using buckets for fruiting. I used aspen shavings(pet bedding) inoculated from a sawdust block. I didn't think pasteurized straw was a viable option but if it is maybe I'll experiment with it a bit.

Looks great ShutEye! I realize now my 3disc is overkill for my tent size, but maybe it will just push me to grow bigger 👍

I did my lion's mane on leftover shavings from the planer at the school I work at. It was a "wtf why not try it" trype of decision. And it worked!

Grow bigger. Dooooo it! 2x4 frame up a tent its relatively cheap just time consuming. You can get an 8x8x8 space. Think of the grow room possibilities in 3 seminarians with shelves. I'm so stoked to get mine finished so I can get back to making bags.
