pasteurization drives me crazy

In the past I thinked that when I got clean spawn nothing will stop the success. But since summer I start to get trich when spawning to bulk each f time. I thought that the problem was that I began to use larger volumes and perhaps 2 hours of pasteurization which works great before isn't enough. I started 4 hours, but still got green. Sometimes I simultaneously got fruits.
How I should escape from those evil circumstances? I use 23qt presto and load it with 3 bags / 4qt each. Maintain 158F for 4 hours. How I can be more precise with it?

If you're pasteurizing coir it's not necessary. Just add hot water, I use steaming hot water from the tap. If you're running manure just stop using it and switch to coir. If you're using manure with clean spawn then the problem if improper pasteurization, if you're using coir its bad spawn.

Assuming you were using a substrate that actually required pasteurizing, let’s say manure, a 2 hour pasteurization cycle is far too long, you’re treading into a log of kill at that point. It’s going to be partially sterilized. That will fail.
I pasteurize manure (as seldom as possible, only for exotics) between 150-160F for 60-70 min tops. That’s all that’s needed.

сoir/verm for cubes and manure/verm for pans. I know that people put manure for 12h sometimes^^ but thanks, I'll try a shorter period.

besides that, what if your environment is full of trichoderma spores? According to what you said, it could be. Try to sterilize everything surrounding the space where you prepare the bulk, which may not be the one to blame.

Almost everyone’s environment is full of trich spores. Trich infests every square inch of soil on the planet.

people only go that long when it takes that long to reach the core temp which IMO is fairly useless but to each their own. i struggled with this all last year myself, i even pasturized materials and left them alone and after 4 weeks they were still fine, shook jars at full colonization to check recovery, still fine, fresh cultures fresh filters fresh material new tubs...green as soon as pins came in my jars were fucked from somewhere but i couldnt pin point it but it certainly wasnt my bulk materials or my grow space it was my spawn
--------------------
It doesn't matter what i think of you...all that matters is clean spawn I'm tired do me a favor
