Exactly my thoughts! I saw a video where Stamets was saying to spore print clothes before getting on planes. Haha

Isn’t it still too hot? I was in N. Ga last week and didn’t see anything except some caerulescens. Definitely gonna be on the lookout, I know a good beech forest by a nice creek

Yesterday cubes the size of pans and today looks like a pan trying to be a cube. Look how blue it is! Good finds today!

Found these on Saturday, in a hood. You can tell these bloomed after the first rain this week, and not the other rainfalls that followed it. Unfortunately that seems the case for most of us in the thread this week . Thankfully the pine needles and solid shade helped preserve these.
What I dont understand is how the patch "staggered" its fruits. There were the ones from a few days ago, and then a fresh stubby guy, it's veil was just breaking (i should have left it, i know). Just trying to get this down to a science to understand it better and help others
Shoutout to the gf. She found the "adolescent" one and we were able to uncover a patch of fully grown adults. Almost walked past the spot.. twice 🙄

Found this amazing patch 10 feet off a walking trail at a local park I take my son to. Looks like a pile of old mulch and what must have contained manure spread all over. Each flush is getting bigger and bigger. Already have over an ounce of dried guys.
I no longer use and have almost a year clean but I live foraging fungi and plants and am just so elated to have found such an incredible scene of nature at its finest.
Don’t worry. I have friends I can gift these magical buddies to. Hope you enjoy the beauty.

nice Danimals! and falcon!, man the fences i wouldnt jump for even a single fatass cube print.... yall would be like "whoaa!... was that michael jordan?!?!?" (but prbly more like, "man, who was that crackhead?!?!?") im always on the lookout for caerulipes and am rather good at convincing myself to look random places in the woods for caerulescens where they prbly arent, that seem to me pretty good habitat for caerulipes. i know ive found the shit out of alot of extremely similar suspects with all kinds of furry assed, blueish heavily mycd up stemmed mycena and such that just may have been it. they would be sturdier than other mushrooms i find that are similar in size and appearance right? like the stems would have a lil more bend before they snapped and they wouldnt become all stringy and limp when wet and the caps would hold up even in a moderately poor form of transport accompanied by a couple slightly older heavier pandas that arent being mean but not being as nice as they should be in a kind of unsupervised bounce castle scenario? i happened upon this bottom of a can shaped cap the other day, its the second one ive found in that patch with that shape
elsewhere i happened upon this little clumped trio which im 100% sure i snapped at least five pictures of in situ which my phone decided not to take cause i know i tapped the godamn circle

Found some pins popping under pine straw. Looks like woodland/microclimate fruits will still be popping while the humidity is high.
