I owe all my spots, but especially this one, to the community here. This spot is out in the deep woods. Intersection of a sharp sloped creek, blackberry thicket, and a sewage line. All those habitats were shared by you good people. I’m a happy recipient.

well after a failed long, hot, sweat soaked walk finding alot of decepticons i had called it a day but decided to check a spot where i had found 2 once before but was convinced it was no longer producing and it led to this solitary badboy!! so should i bury the butt in some recently disturbed area in my yard that we just seeded with grass, try to throw it onto some cardboard (is that just for ovoids?), or mix together some kind of arbivoriate, pine straw, red clay mix substrate hole in the ground and hope for the best?

Nothing for me in Canton either. When this rain period ends i'm sure finds will be easier. Unless this area has just been picked to death. Cham once said this was "weilii central" but ive yet to find a first patch.

Yeah, just keep at it. I've been noticing the past few years. Season is starting later and later. Used to find them end of April/May now they dont start until end of June/ mid July

I've only found three around woodstock so far. I've got some spots that should be blowing up but everything seems to be lagging. There's just so much good stuff that should be producing it's not even funny.

Yep to the East. I found some more while getting the horse in out of the rain. For quite a while I've only seen Panaeolus growing so this is a nice change.

So much of this thread is about caerulescens and ovoids. I've wondered why there aren't more cube posts on here! Nice ones!

Around October/November I'll post pics of pan cyans and maybe a cube or 2

Most the time youd have to tresspass to find cubensis. Unless you have your own pasture with cows and horses.
Most farmers around here know about them. And dont want random people all in their feilds. And will likely get shot at if you dont have permisson to be on their land

I see that point. Guess I thought there would also be more folks that do have their own pasture and animals. I have the pasture and the cows. But they're not yet producing cubes like I'd hoped.

I gotcha. Could be where they came from as well. If they came from an area they dont grow, they probably wont have them. Unless you add spores to their water/hay bales. Then youd still be playing the waiting game as the dung matures enough. You'll never find them in fresh dung, always older patties.
