Haha... I know that feeling all too well! I was super bummed for a few days cuz my electricity was on the fritz and I really needed to pour more plates... thats the plan for tonight!

I'm not sure if thares rules against self promotion here...the video is in my Facebook group and I also have some on a YouTube channel...the channel is brand new and the video is out of focus...im planning on doing a new video tonight with a new tripod to get a better position on the camera angle

Thank you for this; it's one of those things that you watch and think "Why didn't I think of that?!?" Simple, but elegant. I've recently had trouble getting swabs to germinate, so I'm going to give this a shot.

Having never been in front of a flow hood before, that video gives me anxiety. Thanks for the video. Guess I know what I'm doin with my swabs.

Yes bringing the swab up to the camera isn't ideal practice...but I wanted to try and get it in focus....I failed....lol

If you've never worked in the flow its hard to imagine what you can get away with... im not advocating sloppy technique, just that flow hoods are much more forgiving.

Got a few little plate pins on this yeti plate... snagged a few just to see what happens...
