Hunting Pics From a Walk Today
    #2712429 - 05/21/04 08:03 PM (12 years, 6 months ago)

Here are some pics I took on a walk today...mushrooms were everywhere! I ran out of memory well before I had a chance to photograph them all.

Beautiful pics- the coprinicus are everywhere you turn and so are the orange mycena, if that's what those two pics are. I would guess the next to last to be a collybia but I guess that's out of season. Anyway- bitchin resolution.

Gorgeous pics bro! I especially like the small yellow and orange clustery ones. The really dense cluster looks like one mushroom farted inside the log and now they are all trying to escape from the smell. or something.

VERY nice pics man! Awesome quality and lighting on all of the shots!

Because I'm a bit tipsy, I feel like taking a guess at the Genus on a few of those pics...

#1 Either Panaeolus or Psathyerlla, depends on what they were growing from
#2 100% sure they're some sort of Coprinus
#3 Looks like Galerina- deadly.
#4 Mycena? Hygrocybe?
#5 Mycena?
#6 Mycena? Hygrocybe?
#7 Psathyerlla
#8 Coprinus, for shizzle.

Keep in mind these are all guesses based on appearance. Of course we'd need all the usual info to make a close to positive ID on them... spore print, habitat, measurements, blah blah blah.

PS. falseaddiction, I guess you could upload the whole pics at full resolution somewhere else, and post the link to there along with the smaller versions of the pics that can be uploaded here... given the resolution factor you mentioned though, I'm guessing each pic is a few MB, so even that might not be easy...
