Cooking with infused butter

A friend had kindly gifted a fair amount of what he called "trim" to the wife and me for us to play around with and get a little more practice with infusing and cooking.

On new years day we had also tripped some WoW (roughly 300ug) and then yesterday cooked myself a nice veggie/mushroom omelette with the butter.  And also butter a bagel. It was on the heavier side I'll admit.  But not anything heavier than how I normally cook with it, which is also fairly often.  Definitely my preferred way of using herb.  This batch 12g was used for 2 sticks also.

Yesterday took a slightly sharper turn though.  I'm assuming my recent trip was mostly the cause of why this experience was so amped, but there was about 2 hours duration where I was convinced I accidentally dosed myself somehow.  I even stripped down to make sure I hadn't had any blotter stuck to my body somewhere, lol. 

I had made this meal somewhere around 4pm, was through the heaviest of it by 8pm and still high af at 11pm when I'd had enough and gone to bed.  Lol....today we are making a pound cake that calls for 2 cups buter, I'm thinking we may need to add some that isn't infused, maybe half and half.  Not sure yet.
