This mutant Malabar:
got a little dry and the myc bruised on the last day (1/2).
These are my first "grow". The other tub is more uniform (also MAL):

and some other varieties pinning (Pesa,BM,pictured):

that might turn out.
Pretty Stoked! - ALL thanks and gratitude go to this site and it's members. Especially the OG's.

Nice first post.Welcome to the shroomery. Any particular reason you let that first tub go so long?

Thank you, sir. Lack of experience and intuition. The veils on the more normal mushrooms had just broken late the night before so I planned to harvest both tubs the next morning. The smaller tub bruised about 6 hours later and I harvested them both.
edit: and the first tub started like that. Knots became blobs that developed "inside out" more or less. I also tried to beat sporulation which I didn't.

They look pretty cool, kinda "inside out" mushrooms. I bet they were a pain to harvest though!

I had a couple malabar tubs do the same thing, just tons of rosecomb type stuff.
That middle tub has got a couple monster pins in there.

This was the whole tub last night. After this was taken, I turned the tub around with that left side closer to a heat source and it caught up within a couple hours. Amazing how fast things happen at this stage:

The little Pesa pictured in the original post did a small flush this morning too:

Another Malabar tub pining in 32qt tub (G2G from MS/Coir) - Myc growing on pins/caps - I would love to think there's two types of mycelium on the fruiting body but it's most likely just a more wet/humid part of the tub (sides/top/bottom) - The areas where it's happening were dry and are where I focused misting - got dense spikey fingerfuck Myc. Still fun to learn from mistakes.

Need to do some agar work and narrow down the better genetics if I want to keep growing this variety.
The APE shoebox is pining again - Three days after I cut down the first mushrooms:

So veils started breaking on this Malabar this evening:

so I cut them in the hopes of avoiding sporulation - They felt very dense (snappy to the touch). Haven't weighed any cubes while they were wet yet so I thought I'd see:
Tared the lighter:

Then took a couple randoms:

Kind of cool to me - I really like the density vs. volume going on here.
