So much sounds wrong with that extremely wordy post. Pics tell the story better than you can at this point. I can’t understand why you’re piping in humidity when you live in such a humid environment to begin with. I live in a dry climate and I still can use passive systems with a high level of success.
You need to obtain an axenic spore sample and follow a proper tek start to finish. Anything else at this point is just rolling dice.

I have tried and failed many methods. We are in zone 14. I have used YOUR teks, actually.
As for pics, I had to add them later, because Mac has changed their format and this site won't accept HEIC. Try doing that on a 6" screen. Is it possible for you to look at those pics? Are they ready to fruit? If so, then why don't they, if this is their "natural habitat?"
I have tried fruiting cakes to bulk, SGFC spawning cakes on perlite, and now back to bulk in monotub . I pulled the last three cakes on perlite when they dried up like cork, broke them up and spawned again to CVG in monotub. The mycelium is spreading, but I am worried that the contams will get ahead of me since it's been nearly two weeks.
I thought the monotub would be great because of being "set and forget" and not having to open the lid. Followed the recipe for "field capacity" substrate but they still dry out, forcing me to mist and fan, which always seems to introduce some contaminant. Also, I start out with 4" but when things settle, it always shrinks....leaving me to believe this climate sucks the life out of everything, including ME. That is why I opted to try to keep humidity levels very high with a humidifier.

I too had trouble uploading pics because of the .heic extension. I downloaded the "iMazing HEIC converter" so I can convert the files then edit them small enough to be able to upload them to the site. It's a little time-consuming but it's the only way I seem to be able to post pics on here!

Wow that was a pretty extreme response. Good luck.
