Mycelium on agar drying out or some sort of contamination?

So I asked this before and I didn’t really get the answer I am looking for so I took some clones off the older dishes and opened up the ones I will be throwing away.
I keep getting this strange orange/brown/yellowish tint in the centre of the agar on the oldest parts. It doesn’t spread from what I can see but it looks really concerning.
When I took the pictures, I had a little smell of the plates. They both smell perfectly fine if I’m honest. It’s just strange how it seems to be happening on every strain that I attempt to work on. I have bought agar plates in the past of the same strains and they didn’t have this strange colour in the centre.
The agar used was lme with activated carbon and nutritional yeast.
The rhizo growth looks incredible. Is it worth maybe leaving them on the shelf for a couple weeks to see if they start pinning or should I put it to grain and test it?
Really struggling to find answers for what is going on in my plates.
Took some lovely macro shots hopefully the pictures are clear enough now!
Oh forgot to say strains are b+ and McKennaii

Thanks in advanced, mush love

They look fine and you have nothing to worry about. Every time you do a transfer the piece you transferred will have some discoloration ime.

Yeah that's pretty normal but please wait longer before bumping your own post, it's in the rules
