Would this work? Morels..(I know)

I've been reading around and can't find any threads similar to what I'm wondering about. I want to start off by saying that I'm not trying to grow morels. I have access to land that produces 100's of pounds a season, up until a few years ago when the river flooded all the land and has destroyed our harvests.
I'm wondering if it would be possible for me to make up a large batch of LC, put it in a hand sprayer and take that with me when I go hunt. My thought process is anywhere I find a patch I could spray some LC there and try to speed up the natural recovery process of the landscape?
I got the idea from someone on here that was growing Azures in an outdoor patch. He made up a batch of LC, loaded it into a supersoaker and sprayed down logs in the area he was cultivating in.
Thanks for hearing a rambling newb. Cheers

That's certainly something that could work. But it'll be competing in the wild and may not yield fruit for years. Look up mycorestoration. Stamets' book "Running Mycelium" talks about what you're suggesting in more depth. I'm assuming you can find what you need researching the above term.

Thanks for the response! Mycorestoration was the word I was trying to come up with, even though I've never heard of it lol. I'm not too concerned with it competing and taking a few years. I just hope it works! When the flood came through a few years back it deposited 8-20 inches of sediment so my biggest concern is that the natural mycelium just flat out wont survive. The property I go to is gorgeous has treated me and my brother very well over the years so I'd like to try and do something in return for it. Cheers, mate

No worries. It may also be that the conditions have changed dramatically and the morel mycelium does not have the ideal fruiting conditions. If plausible, you could involve some mycologists in examining some soil samples to see if there is morel mycelium already present.
