Precisely. Once all drugs are legalized. They will become businessmen selling a product. They also will have the most infrastructure & money to make the most incredible product. They just need to come into the light. We need legislation to change.
To be fair. If the drug is just completely terrible. It just destroys people. Fentanyl, the poison designed by the Chinese to destroy America. Crocodile. That should be illegal. I’m not opposed to criminalizing poison. But marijuana. Heroine. Everything that grows and can be eaten to make you feel good. Should be legal.
Nobody should be able to tell you to go to jail for eating a flower. That person should go to jail. Not you.

Actually, the cartels are running most of the bigger dispensaries in california. Nobody knows about this but it's true. Cartels will exist because they have the most money and they had the most money FIRST to begin with.
I think I remember reading something about the Yakuza sort of shifting over time to become more of a legitimate endeavor. Interesting how things manifest differently depending on environment. In South America they feed you your balls. In North America they ask if you want to add fries to your order.

If someone chose to act mentally ill wouldn’t that just be considered deviant? And faking a mental illness could be a characteristic of psychopathy per the DSM which would make that decision… a form of actual mental illness

I mean that by changing behaviors and mentality. By making an effort to do different things. Instead of repeating bad habits. You can easily raise yourself out of depression. Or defeat anxiety. Those are just two examples.
For the true deviants. They need intervention

Brilliant.
Unpopular opinion: quit making straw men out of multinational energy companies, manufacturers and all round “big polluters” whilst you’re using a laptop or iPhone and driving a car and growing your mushrooms in plastic tubs and enjoying the copper pipes that carry your hot water and watching a television.
Look no further than in the mirror for your climate villain. The melter of glaciers, the ruiner of oceans—it is YOU. Those companies did not come to pass on supply to a public without demand, whether fifty years ago or twenty or two. They kept pumping out what you said you needed and wanted. Sometimes they told you you wanted it and hey presto! It’s time for version 11XSF#2.0 For all of the internet thunbergs and even embodied voters marching on rubberised soles and using synthetic threads in their clothing, who kept their food refrigerated and, I see just another blind mob, stirred to rally at something else for the cause of its own problems.
To me this is the hard edge few want to navigate or accept when it comes to the climate issue. We made the world small, we tamed it, grew fat and plentiful on it, now we’re terrified that our actions might upset the cosy thing we’ve had in the holocene, and rather than take a sober look at our entire fucking lives, we say “fuck those oil companies! Omg the petrochemical people are evil!!!”
Who. Is. Using. Their. Stuff?
You want to see who’s responsible for this shit? Take a fucking selfie.
It's complete gaslighting for the media and government to tell us that we're polluting the planet by buying plastic....but yet there's no incentive for plastic companies to stop producing plastic.
There's a lot of things that don't have an alternative, like plastic baggies, plastic car parts, plastic tubs, etc.
As a consumer it's not my job to figure out the plastic problem.

Agree. The older I have gotten the more I hate the Beatles. At this point, I can't stand them. Paul Mccartney looks like an 85 year old grandma.
Yoko Ono was John Lennon's witch. She was the scarlet woman.
