I live in a fantasy world, ok. Shit, I'm still waiting for my damn disney fairy tale to happen where a hot guy sweeps me off my feet and takes me away forever.
If there was no money, planned obsolescence wouldn't even be a thing. Everything would be built to last. Just think how far science and medicine would advance if there was no money as red tape for research.
Money is still a new concept in the grand scheme of things. We were NOT using money far longer than we have been using money. Money is just a hindrance at this point and it's not a natural thing that comes from mother earth.

I've said it for a long time, the very idea of monetary value is archaic.

I think singing can absolutely be fostered - I've seen numerous people with the right instruction and setting let out beautiful voices when they never thought themselves capable
But I do think it is one of the skills that seems most innate and natural to observers and one that people are extremely self-conscious about; which in itself inhibits its development in people.
One time I was fucking around and let's say maybe I could be trained to sing all baritone style, but I'm no pop star. I fucked around and found out...

Hard to say. I used to be a singer, and got pretty good at it. But there was a limit, at least maybe a limit due to my ability to purchase training to become better, but probably, almost certainly a genetic limit.
am on the side of there are only a few Chris Cornell’s out there, you can’t just get on a mic and replicate that kind of talent.

For sure. I guess personally vocals are impossible for me, and I'm sure with coaching it wouldn't be much different

Just saying it as a hypothetical thought experiment --

Issue serious fines against companies, whose branding ends up in landfills and illegal dump sites, such that it covers the cost of recycling and reusing it.

There's really no reason why every family on the planet can't have a personal computer.
WHen you think how many computers, laptops, and other PC devices have ended up in land fills, when you think how many different brands of laptops and PC's have made all the billions of computers in history, yeah, every family should have at least 1 computer that lasts a lifetime, except maybe the fans or something.

Mine was made of about 10 different ones tbh.

There's this bizaRre thing that happens when I read durians posts. At first I think, I don't get it this sounds whackfuck crazy. Then I really analyze the words. I kinda think he's some kinda genius sometimes, and the rest of the time I just assume im not smart enough to decipher the post.

afaic, the 501c3's are typically corporatists intending to colonize you under the cover of Christianity. Neocons do not particularly value more, new, human life, except for labor or to serve in a military.
While I have no moral panic over a vulgar, bodily reflex -- that might be triggered in an alleyway, barnyard, or zoo -- celebrating it serves the same basic purpose as buckbreaking.
Why can't you organize, primally, along family lines, dig your own wells and feed yourselves, in a country full of natural resources and horny people.

While I don't ask people to take gross, physical risks, I think that self-reliance can be cultural, artistic, as well as a means of civil disobedience against those who would domesticate you.
Attack the messenger. Show me this bias. I see it.
But, Conservapedia said these sadomasochistic practices were simply unheard of, where resources were in abundance, and there was plenty for all.
Secularists say that some unfulfilled need is being sublimated.

Don't you think some level of "domestication" is necessary? People pour motor oil down storm drains.

I think about this sometimes. What sorts of things haven't been manufactured because there wasn't enough money to be made from it?
