Any research How does psilocybin affect the fetus?
    #27121938 - 01/02/21 12:04 PM (3 years, 26 days ago)

Me and my wife are trying to conceive. We've been trying many months and who knows how many more. But i want to take mushrooms and i am afraid it can be bad for fetus. Does anyone know how long psilocybin can stay in my body?

It won't harm the young one, guaranteed. Safe throughout the entire life cycle fr ceonception to death, all it will do is improve and upgrade, heads up tho , a genius might come out of it 🕉️

I would put a huge disclaimer on that. There is no research corroborating this. Would you feed a baby or infant psilocybin mushrooms?

don't fuck up your kid's brain. If there is a chance you are pregnant why would you sabotage your baby? If you aren't pregnant, go ahead. It's not going to linger that long.

I don't think there's any research on it

Also idk, putting a baby in a position to have an out of body experience potentially would be very messed up. Don't do it.

My own opinion, not research-based, is that it is important to have an ego before messing with it. In the ancient Kabbalah tradition, a person is supposed to be 40 years old and have experienced life before delving into mysticism. Don't do it.

From: https://www.ffhdj.com/index.php/ffhd/article/view/9

Conclusion: Our study showed that psilocin readily crossed the placental and blood-brain barriers of pregnant rats. Because psilocin was eliminated slowly from the fetal tissues of rats, human consumption of magic mushrooms should be avoided during pregnancy.

From: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7035437/

4. Hallucinogenic drugs. Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), mescaline and psilocybin (magic mushrooms) are the best known halucinogenes. The first one, LSD, is a halucinogene with complex pharmacology, a derivative of lysergic acid and has a significant potential to compromise the placental blood flow.
