Approaching Day 20, Monotub still not colonized?

Hey there everyone, I have a Monotub approaching day 20 (Currently @ Day 18); using a 1:3 spawn to sub ratio, However I noticed my mycellium/colonization seems a little "light" if that makes any sense, and progressive hasn't halted, just gotten considerably slower, I don't see much growth at this point, and just pins forming, but I'm worried If I unplug the holes or introduce more FAE I'll risk contams because the sub isn't fully colonized.

There also was what looked like contams to me at first (trich) on those brighter white spots, turns out it's just from water droplets from the lid. I didn't want to open the lid to smell it, so I pressed down on the lid and smelled the air coming out, it smelled like sweet delicious mushrooms, so I don't think I have any contams, however doing so cause a water drop to land in that spot, and the mycelium seemed to be stronger because of it?

Closer pic of the spot, it's been there for about 10 days and growing slowly, no green or anything and again no off putting smells, could my substrate be too dry? I figure if the mycelium is growing stronger from where the water drop splashed down, maybe the reason it's not filling in, is due to moisture?
Here's so more pics:

What can I do here? Should I be worrying? The surface, is nice and beady with tiny droplets, it smells beautiful, looks slightly light, and I for sure see tons of pins. Should I just keep this closed with the poly in? Maybe introduce a fan in the closet I'm growing in for more FAE?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Mush love <3

As far as I can tell by the pics you have some matting from over wetting and a lit of primordia. You can open the lid, it won't hurt it. If it's going to produce it will not contaminate by opening the lid. I have some shot glasses that I grew in in open air in my carpeted bedroom under the dusty vent just for fun and 3 flushes later they've shrunk to nothing but no mold. Give that dude some air, pinning is caused by evaporation (light also plays a part which I will be called crazy here for saying that but I did some experiments and had some 6 sided canopies lol, it's more of a mess and not as awesome as it sounds)
I never tape holes, I stuff with poly loosely and check once or twice a day and mist when needed (I'm running fans too, without fans you can go days between checks)

Forgot to ask. What is your sub? Coir and verm are no nutritive and won't contaminate with clean spawn. I've left coir sitting for months with no issues (other than one brand grew a sprout of something but that's a different story altogether)

That patch looks like mold to me can you take the lid off and get a better photo of it plz?
What variety of cube are you growing? If it is not PE then 20 days is a very bad sign.

I agree 20 days is too long as well but I always run 1 to 1. 1 to 3 takes too long and there is no benefit. Tried it. Might yield 10% more total for all that extra time.

1:3 honestly should pin at about the same time. Less nutrients often equals faster pinning
Try it out and see with a reliable culture. Make a 1:1 tub and 1:3 tub and I bet they will pin around the same time
