hi, i live in the U.K and am thinking of growing some san pedro from seed. Ill be growing them indoors during Spring. Do trichocereus seedlings need artficial light ... say a fluroscent 40w e.t.c whilst propagating? ideally id not use any lights and just grow them indoors

I have started seedlings of Brigsii and they are growing nice under a cheaper LED light I used for vegging my Marijuana plants. Almost 4 inches tall after 9 months.

Oh yeah, forget wasting money on high priced grow light! I used cheap $20 dollar four foot shop lights from Walmart and all my plants love them!
My cannabis thrives under them during vegging too, and there is absolutely no difference in my plants growth compared to that waste of money 5000 watt LED grow light that burned up my electricity bill that I promptly got rid of!
I also just started up several hundred Tricho seeds under mine recently, so just waiting on germination to begin

I've had great success placing seedlings next to a window for the first winter and spring. It's pretty sunny where I am at though...

That works too, and I have had great success using only a window sill.

I have a high end LED light. It is a night a day difference between cheap and expensive. My bill is never over 100 bucks a month with 2 lights going so say what you want but your just one of the old noobs who think you grow the best weed and wonder why it always taste like crap.

We were talking about growing cacti with them buddy, which is what this thread is about in the first place That being said, I don't flower my cannabis plants under my cheap shop lights I said that I grow them under the vegetative cycle with them, which all irrelevant anyway.
We have the option to pay by the day with our electric company here, so I put about $50 dollars on it ant a time, which usually last quite a few days before I need to do it again. Normally my my bill before I ran that LED light was about three bucks a day, and when I ran that light, my bill jumped up to double that per day. So, with this being said, Just because your bill isn't run up by yours doesn't mean that someone else s might not be
Now, I think you need to go put your two cents worth somewhere else buddy
