I've been picking past 2 weeks haven't had a chance to take pics tho always seems like my phone is dead when I stumble across, I think we will get a good solid flush from the plains and mulch beds this week. Blessed to be tripping on freshies in July, praise the mushroom gods

There are some big fruits out here for sure and probably some nice clusters too, unfortunately I'm a very very busy man so don't got much time to go out in the plains or hike to my mulch beds. I haven't been hunting just seen what I happen to stumble across in my daily life. I may make a trip out this weekend or next as I have a new hunter that wanted me to be his mentor.
If I find any large flushes I'll keep you guys posted!
Humidity has been at 100% last few days mushrooms are growing on everything, everywhere and it's raining as we speak.

Hey guys, I am interested in trying to start an ovoid patch in Florida. If you have any prints and are interested in parting with one maybe we could work something out:
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/27401957
Thanks and I apologize in advance if posting something like this here is a little uncouth but I figured this was probably the best place.

It's starting to dry out here in Connecticut, when's the last time it rained over there?

First time looking in northern Lehigh Valley and ran into this guy. The spores were all black and gooey and it is pretty ragged, worth saving? I'm not certain on the ID obviously but that dark circle is my fingerprint that turned purple/blue immediately. I'm assuming it's an ovoid but I'm a noob. Ovoid season is over dude, except for some very rare cases with people who already know spots you aren't going to find them. Your picture is of an unrecognizable destroyed mushroom, it isn't psychoactive and would certainly make you sick in that state. You have to learn about the mushroom you want to hunt, INCLUDING season and habitat

I just copied the link and pasted it in my browser to see the picture. 90% sure it's a blue-bruising bolete, but in that state it could literally be anything

I appreciate your responses and I agree with you 100%. This was the first time I looked for anything and am still uneducated, I just thought it was neat to find possibility. It went in the trash, I'd never take a chance like that. I'm headed to the library today and I'll educate myself more about my local ecosystem before asking again. Thanks

Good man. You can also check on the Shroomery to learn about different psilocybin-containing species https://www.shroomery.org/12230/Psilocybin-Species

Wait till late September early October and start hunting lumber yards with chips... the square light colored chips that have been decaying for 2+ years... nearby rivers and bodies of water is better
