I designed a Jar for Liquid culture. Stop tilting and stop opening the jar

One of the biggest questions i get is "how do you get the culture of the jar?". So i designed a jar where you never have to open or tilt the jar to extract the culture. Please let me know if you find this helpful!

okay, looks like a SHIP in a hole drilled in the bottom of the jar.
Blob of silicone caulk?
Either way you do it I'd worry about leaks/reliability over time

rtv silicon one blob on the inside and one on the outside. it is reliable over time. i have tested it. if after a very long time it starts leaking than you can easily remove it and use fresh blobs.

Makes me think that it could be done with a plastic pp5 container like a pasty plate instead of a glass jar, plastic is so much easier to drill than glass, and can be sanded to make the silicone bond better. I'm gonna try it.
Edit: you could even use it to turn a clean agar plate into an lc by just injecting sterile water into a clean pasty plate. Anyone got any criticisms?

I wrote a similar tek years ago, op
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/24108631

I have lomg since abandoned it because it leaks after a couple uses and
pouring is much easier. Nowadays I make lc in media bottles if I make lc at all.

Makes pouring a breeze and you can shake it real good if you tighten the cap
