This website is amazing. There is a wealth of knowledge on here, not just for cultivation, but for many many different topics.

It would be a tragedy if this knowledge would one day be lost.

I don't know what measures have already been put in place to protect this knowledge, but I think it would be a good idea to somehow print out the public conversations that have taken place on here.

This would be a shitload of paper and I am too much of a smooth brain to figure out how much paper would be a shitload. It also will probably take a shitload of time to send every individual page to a printer.

Someone would probably have to write a program that sifts though the site and sends the pages to a printer for this to be feasible.

Is it foolish to attempt such an undertakeing?

A crawler to create an offline version of Shroomery a la Wikipedia seems like it might be feasible. The steps from there to a hard copy would be relatively straightforward. That being said, there are often rules against using crawlers in forums, so this undertaking would most likely need to be spearheaded by the forums admins themselves.

This website probably gets backed up on a consistent schedule. I'd be willing to bet automatic backups are created pretty regularly.

It's also been around like 24 years or something. I doubt it's going anywhere anytime soon.
