You switched from green party to voting for the guy that gutted federal environmental protection.
So you have no criticisms of Biden then? You voted for him because you thought he was perfect? This is a silly game you play.
Take it from me, the guy who knows Biden won’t do shit about climate change or environmental issues: if you wanted a protest vote against the Dems you could’ve just voted Green.

I’m gonna guess that’s about Senator Byrd.
This is what the NAACP said about Byrd
Longest Serving Member of Congress Became a Champion for Civil Rights and Liberties
WASHINGTON, DC - The NAACP is saddened by the passing of United States Senator Robert Byrd. Byrd, the longest serving member of congress was first elected to the U.S. House from in 1952 and was elected Senator in 1958. Byrd passed away this morning at the age of 92.
"Senator Byrd reflects the transformative power of this nation," stated NAACP President and CEO Benjamin Todd Jealous. "Senator Byrd went from being an active member of the KKK to a being a stalwart supporter of the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act and many other pieces of seminal legislation that advanced the civil rights and liberties of our country.

I have criticisms of Biden, sure. I voted for him because he's far better than Trump and hasn't worked to destroy everything good about America. You voted for Trump despite him having worked to destroy everything good about America...or perhaps because he did.

You're right.
-------------------- I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them. I also attack my side if I think they're wrong. People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

This is another point that mystifies me.
People can, ya know, change their minds?
For some reason, political discourse in the US has become predicated on the idea of "lifelong support". Like, you make up your mind once, and if you ever change it or admit you were wrong, you're "dishonest" and "inconsistent".
Like, how is changing your mind to reflect new evidence/experiences a bad thing?

On the contrary, it was the establishment who:
1. Lied about Russian collusion with the Trump campaign for the past 4 years as their excuse for losing in 2016, which of course, turned out to not be true.
2. Launched an unprecedented Hate campaign on a sitting president through the media complete with hundreds of (literally) totally made up stories to paint Trump as a Hitler-esque dictator. (the results of which you can clearly see on this forum)
3. Attempted to impeach a sitting president based on a totally fabricated lie, something which they knew was a lie, and not only that, but all over something it actually turned out Joe Biden was GUILTY of - which was getting that Ukrainian prosecutor fired because he was investigating Hunter's business ties in the country.
As if *all that* weren't enough, they are now openly attempting to get away with outright STEALING the US presidential election through a massive well-orchestrated voter fraud operation.
Honestly, after seeing all the shit they've pulled the last 4 years to try and get rid of Trump, and the outright delusional psychotic hatred that has been expressed against him (despite him not really being that much worse than any past president other than his obtuse demeanor,) I don't see how it's far fetched at all to think that these same establishment forces would conspire to steal the election.
They've already played incredibly dirty the past 4 years. Stealing the election is a new low for them, true, but based on their past behavior it makes perfect sense why they would do this. They're totally insane and obsessed with taking back the throne of power for themselves. It's a scary thought what they will do once they obtain it. They've already destroyed the idea that America has free or fair elections, so what will they destroy next? That is the question.

No one stole the election. Trump is trying real hard right now though.
