Sick of jars, what's up with bags?

What's up guys and gals!
I'm getting tired of working with jars for bulk work. Breaking mason jars only after second or third run, and yes I'm careful and know what I'm doing. I swear they don't make em the same anymore.
So I can't find much info about using bags. Yes I've used the search function and can't find what information I'm looking for...
I'm getting set up to finally to agar-grain jar-bags-spawn. That's my plan anyways. Maybe even start G2G from a jar to bag the first time it im not ready with agar.
So what's the deal. What type of bags do I need to get, and what's the best grain spawn in bags? Currently I use WBS in jars and it's great. I'm just tired of so many fucking jars. And if I'm not mistaking, I can get more grain done in bags in shorter time than jars.
Thanks for your input. Soooo sick of jars.
EDIT: Can I WBS still be used in bags? Or only rye?

Once you go bags , you will never go back
WBS works in bags just fine

Bags can be very nice if you get them dialed in... they can also be an enormous waste if you dont... granted, I never tried the expensive Unicorn bags... if they aren't wrapped properly they will burst... thats one way to waste 20-30lbs of grain and 3 hours... stings a little more when you double up PCs and then you wasted 40-60lbs of grain in the same 3 hours... lol
In my limited experience, id suggest paying for the quality ones. If you dont have a flow hood, you'll probably want to pre-seal them also.

No unicorn bags do not burst if not ”wrapped" properly. You can secure them with clips if you please. Gordotek shows this. Myers also shows how to fold bags properly to PC in one of the vids. For any serious larger scale cultivation bags are the way to go.

bags are great but I find more contams in them as you have more grain and more place to grow bacteria so my advice is to use grain to grain if you go with bags

You need jars and bags to do it right.
Agar to pints. Pints to quarts. Quarts to bags. bags to tubs.
I like pints for my G2G when making jars. They are much easier to handle. I dont recommend Bag to bag. +IMO Grain masters in jars are way better then culture slants. +you can store things in your jars and they last forever.

I go lc to 1/4 pints slurried to 3 qt bags. They colonize in 4-6 days. The only time I have had issues with bags is when my pressure gauge on my pc malfunctioned and I ended up running it dry. If you use good sterile technique and seal them properly contams should never be an issue with bags.

i agree to disagree, but to each his own. whatevers clever in the eye of the beholder.
agar to quarts, quarts to bags, bags to bags, bags to tubs.
jars are a bitch. too much shaking, breaking, etc.
however of course theres still a place for them in this hobby.

Sorry to bring this back up again everyone, but how exactly do I toe off the bag for PC, and G2G with the least amount of contams? Thanks and happy new year!

The one thing I don't like about this site is the "my way or the highway" attitude some people have. I go agar to quarts to tubs, sometimes pints to tubs. Yeah yeah 8 pints per tub but with a bike tire shaking 60 quarts takes 10 minutes once or twice a week if you hydrate properly and don't overfill. Tried bags, they're ok. To each their own.

I was a little apprehensive about using WBS in bags but so far I find it more forgiving than WBS in jars. Bags rock, no jars or lids to clean or store, no shaking jars, mashing the bag is far easier than shaking. The only thing with em is they can go bloom easier so I don’t short the run and I try to not fill em too full. If you use liquids to inoculate them (and I do) be sure to not use too much. Pooling LC on the bottom of bags has cost me a few. I like 15 cc LC for a large bag with 4 quarts in it. If I see it pooling a day after inoculation I mix it all up until the moisture is distributed evenly.
Also don’t cheap out on the sealer. In hindsight I should have bought the 5mm mag lock years ago instead of struggling with a POS. The extra $150 or whatever is worth it.

Biggest problem I had in my transition to bags was I was overhydrating my grain especially for LC. Now I prepp it on the dry side for 5lb pre hydration grain weight in a Unicorn 3T. I am current running a soak no boil all in lbs. 1.5 oats 1.5 sourgum 1 Wheat 1 millet Makes a dense bag with ample inoculation points when spawned. Soak 20 hrs @ 70 Add hot water to bring to 100 last 4. Strain 10 min load wet & steam sterilize 24 hrs or pc 4
