It all depends how you respond to the trip, I don't necessarily believe mushrooms chemically cause euphoria, rather they enhance states of being and consciousness. If you are generally happy you will feel a more pronounced happiness, etc. The profound states they can bring you to are altered states of consciousness. It's not like MDMA where serotonin is being chemically released in copious amounts and flooding you with feel good chemicals.
You can feel terrible as well on mushrooms, they don't innately cause euphoria in my experience

My last trip I felt semi-euphoric, but I wouldn't describe that as the baseline of my experiences with shrooms, Shroomies!

Rise against said: I've even heard some people claim mushrooms to have aphrodisiac properties. I get that from lsd but the opposite from mushrooms. I don't find them sexually stimulating at all and don't think I'd be able to have sex even if I tried with mushrooms.
Mushrooms tend to make me extremely horny/crank up my sex drive towards the later portion of the trip.
Mushrooms, all psychedelics really, have several distinct different phases for me that are all different. I'm not in the same headspace and don't feel the same through out a trip from beginning to end. During the come up and during the initial peak/first phase of the trip the thought/desire of having sex isn't really on my mind...
...but around 3+ hours after dosing mushrooms during the later phase of the trip and during the come down and during the afterglow, yea mushrooms almost always make me super horny and give me a strong desire to fuck.
LSD does the same for me...but also not until the middle to later portion of the trip, around 5+ hours after dosing.

True.
I've been through the roller coaster of ups & downs of mushrooms
I've certainly had times where I've felt terrible on mushrooms in different ways (emotionally, physically, etc etc).
So yea I suppose euphoria isn't an innate or "forced" aspect of mushrooms (like it would be from MDMA for most people)...
....but I find mushrooms do have potential for one to experience immense euphoria.

Mushrooms are incredibly euphoric almost all of the time for me. There are moments, typically related to nausea and gas, that can make mushrooms uncomfortable but almost always mushrooms feel like a full body massage whenever I take them.

Definitely euphoric. Also definitely the enhancement of sex and horniness in general (which for me is like most of the time anyway ).
Sex on mushrooms is something beyond euphoric, but I think you have to learn how to make it work. Then it's golden.

Whew man, I have a few of these for sure. Funnily enough, a lot of them were from a particular year/few months period where a lot was happening in my life that I believe tinged the experiences. What I would give to have THAT trip again, not just A trip...

I would have to agree with you OP. I find LSD to be extremely euphoric where you just have that feeling of pure happiness and joy. For me, mushrooms don't feel euphoric. I feel Goofy and happy when I'm on mushrooms. I wouldn't really consider that to be euphoria.
I find lower doses of LSD like 50 or 60 micrograms to have a euphoric feeling very similar to MDMA or ecstasy without the trip.

Yes I find them euphoric if by that is meant feeling great. They also make me happy, interested, contemplative. The comeup is dysphoric.

definitely euphoric, as in "delighted to be back home", but not as in, "my how exciting everything feels in my chest"
sex is mostly in the mind, and so is euphoria [as well as suffering], so when the mind is expanded you get more of what you are (open to, attracted to, inclined towards etc.)

I'd say shrooms have a more profound euphoria than the one you get from mdma.

I'm surprised at the amount of people saying mushrooms feel like MDMA to them. Every once in a blue moon I'll have a trip that feels like that, and it's very euphoric of course.
Usually though it just feels like I'm dying and the trip consists of coming to peace with that fact, so yeah not the most euphoric feelings there. Still worthwhile though.
But coming back to life from simulated death can be pretty euphoric. Makes you think, maybe the thing that's really euphoric is just normal life, but we keep forgetting that fact through overexposure or something

Yes life is naturally euphoric, mushrooms, and psychedelics just enhance what's already there..

Mushrooms can be very euphoric in the right place at the right time... they come on in waves and offer different feel with each wave.

I find mushrooms so euphoric that so far I have never regretted taking them despite all the hesitation, which is a part of developing the proper mindset and time for the trip.

Just thinking about taking mushrooms brings me euphoria but also brings fear and anxiety. I have never been on a trip that i regretted. For better or worse they are always an adventure.

Yes, that is the mystery, the fascinating reality of them having an effect on you. The sacrificial aspect that the ordeal has with the ego and its pleasures is fascinating to me. Even though the end result most often is worth it, that initial anxiety and disorientedness puts me off from them most of the time, as well as the lengthy duration and uncertainty. But when you "sacrifice" these, great feelings and experiences are had...
