2020 Positive Recap, Share a positive outcome: 2

There's a few recaps of 2020, but all seem to lean towards failures. Let's share a single cultivating success story of 2020. Whether first time with agar, a first flush, re-did a grow area, whatever an exciting, positive moment is for you, cultivating this year. Even locating a pressure cooker is a positive ordeal lately, lol.
This year, out of dozens 66qt tubs, I didn't loose a single tub or grains to tams.

2020 was the year I started cultivating again and decided to take on agar. I've got 4 different varieties of cubensis on agar all cleaned up and I'm very happy with myself. Even bought a psilocybe cyanescens spore print and have tonnes of that on agar too. Couldn't have done it without you lot and this wonderful site. ✌️&❤️

I too started growing mycelium on agar in March 2020. I have seen so many contaminated. Agar has opened my eyes to the myriad of mold, slime, and trichoderma spores that surround me. Not to mention wild spores, pollen and whatever other invisible organisms swirl about me, unseen.

In 2020 I finally grew the balls (or stopped being lazy af) to source some spore sprints and start growing. Been like 10 years of on/off research and dreaming, and just general hoping that I may find myself a mentor. Nope, gotta man up and do this shit myself. And by myself I mean by following all of your guys advice posted here over the years.
Haven’t fruited anything yet but I’ve got confidence in learning new things.

Grew my first shrooms in like 15 years. Grew weed, made dmt, baked bread. For an introvert like me this was a pretty great year

After lurking around this website for 2+ years I finally took the leap and started my first grow. I’m in the third week and my BRF cakes are starting to colonize with mycelium. I think I’m about half way through the process and it doesn’t seem as hard as I thought it would be.

Luv it all. There is some positive in this messed up year. To hell with the failures of cultivating, they are aleady in the past, celebrate the sucesses!

That is gold. Makes me wonder how many amazing threads are buried out there. Does there exist a list of threads like that or a good way to find them?

Same goes for agar, get on agar immediately. It's so much easier than you would believe.
