Agar shroom clone question

Finally got me some real aa+ mycelium! Is it not a good idea to take a piece of tissue from the bottom of this shroom? Like will I get tiny cube genetics or possibly good fruiting genetics? Or both? I wish I could’ve caught it as a pin but I didn’t notice this plate until it was already this size.

I'd lean towards transferring the whole fruit. Are you thinking you wouldn't do that because the veil is opened a bit?

I would just transfer the whole fruit to a new plate then when it grows out, select the best growth to xfer from again
I think plate clones are good candidates, the thing pinned and grew in a petrie far from ideal conditions. Just think of what it could do with some TLC

No way to tell with out testing the isolate.
Clones are not always the "best"

I was thinking it was possible that I’d end up with a 66qt mono with tiny fruits...but I was also thinking what Camera93 said,, that it grew in far from ideal conditions and with tlc my monotub would be awesome.
