Some jars that sat, and also a question about the liquid

Hi, I had to go away for work and left these jars in a closet for about 8 months. I think they all looked good when i left or i would have tossed them, other than that I cant remember much.

Some have formed a dark liquid which I recall reading about at some point

What is this liquid? why does it form? Is it usable?
I plan on doing maybe trying to fruit a jar or 2, and then if they work doing G2G, making LI, any other ideas? Anybody had luck with really old jars?

I think you are now. Maybe you shouldn't post in cultivation threads if you have no advice.
If there's more than one organism growing in your jar it's not worth opening

Can anyone tell me what they see in particular that convinces them that these jars are bad, and were bad before sitting? Anything specific to help me grow as a grower? I feel like I have gotten jars looking like this to fruit successfully in the past.
First and second photo show irregular colonization lines in some plastic jars, is this the major area of concern?
The glass jars seem to clearly be solid cakes that have shrunk considerably, but that seems no different from brf cakes i have let sit and seen significant shrinking. The darkened grains and liquid are things I feel ive seen before, but not to this extent.
Have done a fair number of bulk grows with some success, not a total fool but definitely still learning and in the beginning stages of this journey.

Im pretty sure we can all smell the bacteria from our seats. I know those smell like fish. The off colors in the bottom of your unmodified jars help give it away. You sure can get fruits off of bacterial laden grain, but not at that age.
