Harvest pics of what was supposed to be APE

I'm a lurker but these came out really cool and I have no idea what they are so I created an account to share.
Bought the spores as an APE swab and they looked just like APE's until a few days ago when the caps started opening up. They bruise black almost instantly and are solid the whole way through, maybe Avery's Albino? Didn't think those had blue APE type caps though.
Grew these in an unmodded dub tub. The fan was off in the room for a few days so the feet got fuzzy. Taking lots of clones today.
Yesterday

Today

The black spot is where I picked off a cap to print and clone.

Could be reverting ape . Sometimes mutant genetics will be unstable and not make the phenotype you expected.

Makes sense. I'm putting the original swab to agar again and will pull a few different sections to see what comes out next time.

I'd be pleasantly surprised to have what you got as long as they're potentcy is on par or better. I love unique cultures that don't sporesplode and are potent. White variations make people's eyes light up like kids in a candy shop.

Very pleasantly surprised. I look forward to working more with these and took lots of clones.

Definitely has PE characteristics but is different than most APE. I think it's cool.

Mostly isolated, I did 4 transfers and this was the dominant strain in the last one that probably overtook the others in the jars. I'm going to streak the swab again next week and pick a few MS sections to fruit for variety and see what comes up.
