Contaminated??? I know I read the threads

I have read the threads but I'm still not sure, I keep getting this light blue spots my nice mycelium and every time I get rid of it, it smells and look so healthy. Is this really contaminated? https://files.shroomery.org/files/20-52/902842675-IMG_20201226_155935708.jpg Thanks for any help.

I think the weird brown patch on the bottom left jar looks most concerning.

Bacterial? How do I get rid of that? Can I clean that up on agar? Or is that a wash? The jars in my avatar are from awhile ago, should my mycelium be not so wispy? Thank you

Bacteria can be cleaned up on agar but it likes to travel with the transfers so it may take a little work. Bacterial spawn is not the worst but its also not the healthiest. I wouldn't expect much from it. But maybe...
When talking about bacterial contaminations, Whispy mycelium would be better than thick, tomatose mycelium. Thick white mycelium is an indicator of bacteria.

the fruits will be fine & the clone should be fine assuming you can clean it up well on agar. if i am correct there are very few times itβs actually unsafe to eat the mushrooms from a contaminated flush. if it fruits itβs safe as long as it doesnβt have mold or some gnarly shit growing on/in it

prep your grain dryer. bacteria likes wet conditions.

yeah they should be dry on the outside and hydrated on the inside. you also don't need to incubate your jars at a warmer temperature. bacteria thrives in warm temperatures too.

i let my oats dry for at least a few hours, sometimes i leave them in the strainer overnight & jar them the next day. it's pretty hard to prep oats too dry IME, & wet grains are going to give you bacteria like friedegg said

Yeah, oats are tough to thoroughly dry. I know they're well loved by many, but I've found wheat to be way easier to work with for that reason, so if you can't sort this issue, try switching up your grains.
