APE tubs success

I put them in fruiting 12/20 and i havent seen pins yet. I just wanted to see if my tubs look good still. I colonized the substrate fully and then cased, waited until about 15% of the casing was colonized then i initiated fruiting.
these are my tubs

pretty much since 12/20 all its done is just colonize the casing layer more.
it seems like my FAE is pretty good since there are rings around the poly holes and there is humidity lines on the sides. substrate still feels moist and there are little water beads all over but no pools of water or strange smells

PE / APE can take 20 days to pin, 20 being fairly normal. Post your photos on this site, most of us aren't going to linked sites to view.

didnt know they took so long to pin. im trying to insert the pictures but they are huge. will resize and post them directly.
do i need to mist it at all or do you think its dialed in enough?

Tubs look healthy from the photos. Let mother nature do her thing.

Also, fyi, unless your extremely lucky with your APE genetics, in general APE is considered a novelty grow, meaning majority are going to produce small shrooms and smaller yeilds. If you get lucky, or find a great clone to work with, don't get overly excited for decent yields from APE ms. From MS, generally speaking, PE, tends offer better yeilds.

thanks. i only grow for myself, i would be okay with getting 4-5 ounces of APE out of 2 66qt tubs do you think that would be a realistic expectation? or am i looking at something like 2-3 ounces yield? i should say for the record that the APE spores i got were all huge rhizo in the jars and colonized really fast. they only took a little less than 4 days to colonize the substrate fully after spawning to tub. i know that doesnt dictate how well they will fruit but so far the genetics have been on my side.
i mainly wanted to do APE because i heard they were really strong.
i have some GT spores in the fridge but theyre old. i might order fresh GT spores and get some jars going i suppose. i wish i could do agar but i dont have the time right now to focus on learning agar and supervising it

both tubs are pinning really well. one of the tubs definitely will have a couple mutants and unfortunately a bald spot in the middle, but other than that it looks really good so far. hopefully that keeps up!

both tubs ended up with a dense pinset covering the whole substrate. mainly small shrooms some medium. yield so far is 5 oz from first flush. completely happy, that yield will keep me supplied for all of 2021. had a little last night, 2g got me rolling super good, i would say about the equivalent of a 5g golden teacher trip

Honestly 5 zips from two tubs ain’t bad when we’re talking about APE. Be careful with them. My first time I did 3grams and got destroyed.

thanks Tstone. Fungi Rogers you definitely have to. and pastywhyte i definitely will. 2g APE got me to a 5g GT equivalent after doing 6g GT 2 days prior.
wanted to post the final dry jars. 6.5g final weight. should be enough to do 2g every weekend for the whole year. i got a little lazy with removing the substrate remnants i was a little pinched for time but will just brush it off as i consume
