Presto 23 Qt Notice

Merry Christmas fellow Shroomerites!
I got a presto 23qt for Christmas to reboot one of my favorite hobbies (mycology). I was brushing over the manual and came across this notice. I have used a presto 23 qt in the past and never had any issues.
I assume they put this in there to cover themselves if a mycologist makes a warranty claim. The notice does not worry me much, but I wanted to know your thoughts.

'Where do you want to go?' was his response 'I don't know', Alice answered. 'Then', said the cat, 'it doesn't matter.'"

I interpret that warning as the company covering any potential liability like McDonalds saying that hot coffee is hot... I wouldn't worry about it at all, it's mostly just amusing.

lol yeah thatβs been around for a while.
I wonder if people actually warped their cookers or if presto saw some people get busted using their products.

They only warp if run out of water. Doesn't matter if the jars are full of pickles or grain.
It's mostly Presto making it obvious that they don't condone using their products for potentially illegal activity. But hey, they may get a disproportionate number of warranty claims from people using their PCs for mycology. We'll probably never know.

After seven years using my 23 Presto I ran It dry.
I tried a new kind of spawn bag that burst open.
The grain went down to the bottom and soak up all the water and It got hot and warped the bottom.
While It was still hot I turn the pc upside down flatten It back into shape with a block of wood and a mallet.
I was lucky, It could of been worse.
