Does this mycelium look healthy

Inoculated with pre sterilized bags..yes I know it’s bad. Hopefully a good trusted vendors rep lives up to it though. And spore Syringe.
Been about 9 days and here’s what I got.
Lemme know if I should be concerned.
In second picture I accidentally punctured the bag and had to tape over immediately. So the focus is on the middle area. The rest should be apparent focus.

So this is bad? I just want to be able to grow something... I have 3 bags in total and the other two don’t have this. Should I not use this bag? It’s my best one .... I had to break up one of the bags in hopes it would catch up to this..

Also. Could this be due to me stressing it out? I’ve been anxious and moving them around kinda to inspect them every couple days... I know. Total fckn noob

I think you have a good chance of growing something. If you want to increase your chances instead of doing one giant mono tub you could do 3 smaller tubs 1 with each bag.
what are your plans? colonize coco and verm with your grains?

I have a manure based substrate that i planned to mix in a 66qt tub. a 3:10 ratio.

Right. I’m not sure how to get either without atleast getting something I can get a spore print from. Should I not use this bag? Or are the metabolites possibly from me stressing them? Like I said I wanted to do a 3:10 ratio but I could just do 3 small tubs.

nvr mind i see tht now
look u fucked up. take it as a lesson learned start over do everything urself and use agar to inoculate with.
as for the bags that r most likely fucked b4 u even shot nasty ass spores into them. if they have growth spawn them to individual shoeboxes amd just hope for fruits to clone from. but u cant b buyin trash that u cant rely on and then wonderin why shits fucked up. know what im sayin. learn agar do that first and foremost. then get a clean culture on a properly prepaired grain source and then u should have no problem
those bags look riddled with bacteia. looks like pooling in the bottom but that dont mean u cant get a few fruits but ur gnna have to spawn the ones that at least finish to their own shoebox cuz i promise u if u try n go gor a single tub u wont get a single fruit(most likely) but your best chances afe individual shoeboxes for each bag.

Yeah my plan was to just atleast get some yield to have and especially to clone.
Any good guides you can recommend for doing shoe boxes and one for agar?
They all have growth so i think its beneficial to do them all in seperate shoe boxes.

Thank you! I play to spawn each 1 lb bag to 6 qt shoe boxes using enough sub to get it about 2-3 inches tall in the shoebox. then I will keep the lid on for 10 days. I will have NO FAE holes at this time. When it fully colonizes then i will put another tub on tub to make a sort of dub tub and introduce the FAE.
Questions. Do you think i should have the shoeboxes all in one bigger tub? or just do the dub tubs? Can i have the lids on the shoeboxes and not provide FAE while they colonize the sub?
Should i just throw away the bag that has the metabolites? Not sure if it is safe or what? Im sure i couldve stressed out the bags by being anxious.
thanks for all the help !

Actual shoeboxes provide FAE with no holes. The lids don’t seal on purpose. I leave the lids on until mush hit the lid, then just unlatch and let them push up the lid. I don’t like to dubtub, but others do with success. With cubes I put the tub into fruiting conditions when I spawn. You don’t have to worry about colonizing with low FAE, then switching it up. The choice to put shoeboxes into another mono really depends on your ambient conditions. If your environment is really dry, and you notice your sub drying even with the lid snapped on, then you might get better results putting the shoeboxes in a bigger tote.
I wouldn’t throw away anything yet. Spawn every bag that colonized 100%! You might get fruit from any of them. Don’t spawn any with visible mold, or any that do not finish colonizing. I wouldn’t worry yourself about stressing the bags by being anxious. You shot spores into grain which is always risky. You likely have bacteria from poor grain prep, and/or from the syringe. Spore syringes are not clean. Learn from this experience and do better next time.
