I just let the mushroom grow guys I didn't do anything special and got lucky.
Truly I wish I had taken more pictures of the growth, I fib you not. 
I had just the two plates, the MS plate and the T1 plate then got impatient and dropped it to grain.
I plan to G2G that one jar, I'll make sure to gather multiple pics from now on.
I'll even start over if you all wish.

T1 pretty ballsy. I’m always apprehensive sending T2’s even when they look good. Grain is my week point though, I can have the most beautiful looking agar go to shit on grain. Frustrating

I feel the same way about anything <T3. That said, I recently violated that rule for the first time in forever with a T1 of Brazilian and it"s outrunning almost everything else I have going and looks beautiful. It's a vast conspiracy.

I just get too excited and jump in without thinking a lot tbh.
That's why I didn't have a lot of pics from the beginning because I was excited about being included in LAGM21.
Like I said, truly I just have a lot of fun.

I'll often go to grain from T1 or T2 because I just did't know better and I'm impatient. I think I'll start following your guys suit an wait until T3 from now on. I'm curious, do you transfer it before putting it to grain 3+ times even when you've got good looking growth and no signs of contams? I'm guessing thats because there can be some hidden stuff you can't see with the naked eye?

I go to grain when it looks clean. I don’t get hung up on how many transfers I did. When starting from spore, I want to get it fruited as quickly as possible and see what I get, then clone the good looking stuff.

Exactly that. Everything would look great at first and go to shit after the fact. I have to sterilize grain at approximately the speed old people fuck so that got old quick lol. Sneaky molds that looked like myc meshed in, bacteria... Don't know why the sudden impetus to deviate now but I'm just anxious to get shit going after breaking shit down I guess. 
Side note: anyone ever make semilanceata LC before? Seems like risky business for some reason but logical me wants to call bullshit on myself. Get-ahead me wants to do special things for LAGM.

Cool, thanks for the clarification Alaska. I'm going to start doing that as I have been having some contam issues lately. Think this could really help.

Nothing to lose by going to grain early but potentially a little time and grain. If it doesn't work out, toss it, and by then you'll have another transfer or two.

 this is my process which is why I run so many shoeboxes.
I grab a clone or two from each shoebox and continue from there.
If I can avoid MS I will.

I have had white/grey molds infect my grows before because of my hasty nature.
You get further down the line and realize you have a contam and now... how far spread is it? Is it all my jars?
When Blue Helix/pasty helped me out with LC recently I had to toss a bunch of jars that turned out to be just some stupid white mold.
It was such a huge let down when it happened that I got so depressed I didn't do any cult work for a week.

So this is what I’m working with twelve days in. Still have nothing on three plates, but I’m going to move along today. I’ll grab that rhizo growth breaking free on the Melmac plate, and something white from the APE plate.
Hope I got some clean transfers. Everything seems so slow.
 
Also moved the swabs to new plates. There’s still so many spores on them.

Nothing super exciting. Took 5 T1s from the galindoi germ plate and 6 T2s from the pan cyan BVI. Hopefully the T2s will produce something worth sticking in an LC and I have no idea what I'm looking for with the galindoi so hopefully I'll get something

Just don’t be deterred if/when the myc turns a yellowish color with that Galindoi. That was my experience though. All my jars turned out great and I even had success fruiting.
