I gotta pour more plates so I can take some more transfers! Just dropped 9 different cubes to 20 grain jars... and those were all pre-LAGM... lol... my grain rack is gonna bow with all the jars on there!

I updated my grow log . Added a few new varieties and potential crosses. And will be adding some more today or tomorrow. Maybe Natalensis and Atl. 7’s. RW if the print gets here soon. I wonder if they could cross. Prob not cause they’re different species huh.

Ha, I had a shelf start to break under the wieght of grain jars. It was a flimsy wire shelf and the spot welds started popping. Lucky I noticed because it was 3 of 4 shelves and probably would have taken the ones under it too.

Got my spores in the mail a couple days ago but life happened and I didn't get to put anything to plate until today.
Here's hoping these nice fresh PESH I've got germinate fast so I can catch up to some of you folks!

Cracked open this very nicely wrapped package I received from a meticulous man on the east coast.
Inoculation loop in hand, zig-zagged as best I could with this batch of very soft agar I made up for the purpose of playing with LI, but probably makes for excellent germination plates.

Good work! I'm 7 days in and have germination on 1 of 15 plates  that just aint gonna cut it! I'll give 'em another week before I try again

Damn mushboy I thought you'd be harvesting in a few days! I think I'm going to try out your LC once I get a clean plate goin! When you use grain soak water do you use it undiluted? I'd rather use my LME for brewing beer

Prints finally arrived! Might have been duped by the seller but we shall see

So 2 days later and 3 out of 4 plates have sporulating mold and bacteria where I streaked.
Very much a noob, always been lucky and had clean prints.
On these 3 plates there does not appear to be any desired germination, for me 3 days was the fastest I usually got usable growth with stone producers.
The 1 remaining plate without any obvious mold or bacteria so far(which is Chicon Nindo,) has some very faint growth which I am optimistic is in fact the right stuff(in previous grows I have seen very faint growth at 2 days but who knows this could be more mold.)
Here is a mold plate:
Bad photo but the white shit is starting to turn green.
I decided to swipe 2 more plates with Chicon and Jalisco to see what happens. As a backup in case I fail I also swiped one of my own Galindoi prints to ensure I have something to grow.
So the one plate of Chicon not yet overridden with mold has growth that looks like it might be the right stuff. I always have trouble identifying mycelium on early plates.
Going to transfer and see how it grows out

I said I saw germination on one plate and I wasn't lying. But now that it's grown out a bit it looks like it was mold right where I buried the piece of cotton from the swab.

I feel you guys pain. I got germination on both AA+ amd PA+ but nothing worth taking a picture of or trying to transfer yet.

Well I don't see any sign of anything from the APE Hybrid syringe from 1.1.2021
So gonna spit some more drops inna couple plates and spread the drops around with a loop.
I really shook the syringe up and could see stuff floating around.
Two plates for the APE swab: one contam and one a light circle of growth??
Next time I use a swab going for more plates for that swab.
BTW I highly recommend Josex's Dem Dicks! GROWLOG He's a great writer...

Yes, was just as stable as F1.... But then I packed up my shit and sold my house and never got around to F3-F4 to see if it reverted back.... I guess this run is gonna be F3 for the LAGM 2021!
I am also interested in this one because Faht has his own cross of PE and AA+, but I don't remember if it was PEU or reg. It would be interesting to see these two Pheno's side by side in the LAGM 2021 thread.

My one-week update:
Those (too big) xfers are not even a week old, just took a chance on some wispy stuff that looked like it was growing away from other contams on the original plates. Mold or something, right?

Yeah looks like some kind of mold to me. It isn't very organized and standing pretty tall like that make me think it might be suspect.
